this is hands down the hardest ive ever seen a 911 get driven, god i want one. This just shows that porsches really do mean business, you can push them to shit if maintained correctly. i own a 944 s2, yea yea 944s suck, but whatever, the s2 is a decent car with the 211hp 3.0 litre 4, i take pride in it not being a gutless 145 hp regular 944. It is a good car, but the main goal is a 911 one day.
@indigoblue555 The SC ran from 1978-1983. Great cars, but I prefer the Carrera 3.2. Larger engine/more power, oil-fed timing chain tensioners, no exploding air filter box, better brakes and a nicer chin spoiler/foglight arrangement. That said, they're both beautiful cars and I sure wouldn't turn my nose up at being offered the keys to the car in this video.
@lotuselisel HI! I owned both cars in different versions: SC 188 hp and 204 HP,
as well as the Carrera 3.2 - honestly I loved the 204 Hp SC better - but that's just personal taste. The 3200 is handsdown rated as the best Porsche aircooled engine ever made: I have no personal experience on 993 but a large part of classic 911 owners do confirm the 3200 as the top evolution of the original project, providing performance along with reliability and affordable mantainance costs.
@indigoblue555 Perfect balance of old and new. I used to sell Porsches (air-cooled) in Portland, OR and sold many 993's, but I much preferred the drive and feel of the 3.2. The 993 is too civilized. Even the G50 3.2 cars lose the feel. I know it's a far better tranny, but it just doesn't have the raw feel of the same car with the 915 box. I sold many of the early long-hood cars and they're great too, but I would be a bit more reluctant taking one from OR to FL as I did in my 3.2. I'm a 3.2 fan.

laxer27 - 1982/1983 if memory serves.
Sc went out production in late 1983
and from Dec.83 the new Carrera 3200
was available.
