@Th3Sabator45 Yep, they've got 1 and 2 on disk, but I opted to get Zelda 1 on cartridge, which is actually harder to find. Zelda 1 was actually the first game released for the disk system.
from 0:46 - 1:01 i was shocked and awed over the mega cd 2, and the saturns and dreamcasts! i am jealous of all the opportunity you have at just that one store! btw, im wondering if you run across shenmue 2 alot? ive been wanting that game ever since i got my dreamcast and beat shenmue 1... twice.
@NathanFaux Actually, I have come across Shenmue 2 on the Dreamcast here, which is awesome, mine was the American Xbox release. I'm thinking seriously about getting a JP Dreamcast very soon. :)
@KidShoryuken yes! get it! its so worth it and apparently so much better than the xbox version. If you are willing enough to do so, you should hook me up with a copy! that would rock!
@NathanFaux Then it'll have to be one of the first games I get when I finally get a JP Dreamcast. They have a couple at Hard Off, but they're a bit fugly, really yellowed. Holding out for a decent one.
Nice tour! Thnx for the upload! I havent seen all ur vids, but i wanted to ask if u can do one on currency and how much some of those games would be in US dollars. Thnx ^_^
@TheAtari7800Junkie Before I'd ever even come to Japan, I'd seen video of Super Potato. At that time I was the one drooling, haha. Guess where I went my first weekend here. :)
Great! As for me as I couldn't find a new one to remember it I bought the Sony PlayStation version instead (before the ugly PSOne books re-re-release). A shame they didn't do Rockman 7.
Akumajo Dracula for the PC Engine new stands at 45800 yen is that right?
@Hal566 They just stayed out of my way and let me film, guess they think it's good for business. I'm gonna film the Club Sega in Akiba, even if I have to be a bit sneeky, hehe.
I like this place but of course it's a bit on the expensive side. Sometimes you can find deals though. Oh yeah, the games you have marked as "???" are MSX games. They were very popular in Japan and I think is still the only place to get the original Metal Gear.
Like any other place, the prices vary depending on the game. I've bought games there for dirt cheap, and sometimes I pay a pretty penny for the ones I REALLY want.
Hey I only just realised I have actually been there! Man that brings back some memories. I was there just after the PSP got released in Japan and before it was released in Australia. Can remember as I bought a white PSP there, and brought it back for my brother in law. Awesome thank you. Was 2nd floor ??? MSX cartridges? Sooo jealous now :)
@tweirup It's not unusual for me to be in there for a good long while trying to figure out what I'm going to buy. The more systems you have, the harder it is to decide what to buy for.
@MeetingFlipper Thanks man, I don't think I've ever gone to Akiba without stopping at Super Potato. In fact, my first weekend here, I went to Akiba and straight to SP and bought a Super Famicom, haha.
@KidShoryuken nice man XD lol There is something that i saw in your last video that i really want in my collection because im a huge mario fan and its the super mario you got, if you come across another one you know who wants it...this guy lol

@XerosigmaZ Perhaps not an entire vid about currency, that might be a bit dry, but I can definitely work it into a vid in the near future. :)

@xcornmuffinx Thanks for the info. I've heard of the MSX, but hadn't actually seen the cartridges before, kinda look like cassette tapes.
