As much as I love Ville's vocals, he can't come close to Peter's perfection. In fact, I can't imagine anyone doing a good cover of Type O, they're just one of those bands.

Music trancends language, it crosses geographical boundries and cultural changes Music is the pure expression of the spirit and that enables everyone to understand and possibly relate. When music is made by producers replacing artistic input and marketing replaces honest personal expression as with HIM it ceases to be music
Producers don't make HIM's music. You are to quick to judge. That is one song being spoken of that was requested that they do. One. The fact that you are trying to define music and say that them doing a cover discredits them as musicians is ridiculous. It is a tribute to a milestone and popular way of showing respect.

HIM changed rapidly over a short period of time and their music is now different then anything else from their country of origin. Vastly over produced with 100s of tracks going at the same time creating soundscapes that cant be reproduced live. A real band gigs and has songs they can play live.
