  • Hi

  • type o forever!

  • does anyone have a video of what peter thought of the cover? or is everyone just going to assume what they think is right and that anyone who thinks anything else is wrong?

  • Im sorry but HIM seriously sucks ass. And Villie Valo does not look like he belongs in the Metal community. Type O Negative Kicks Ass

  • yes, fuck the haters but HIM needs to do his own damn cover...holy shit...ps. I love you Peter, my dark angel!

  • got the jew-tone

  • Watch what happens, cover wise.

  • HIM being able to cover Type O? Bwahahahahaha... Yeah, sure... And I am the pope.

  • Type O Negative > HIM

  • As much as I love Ville's vocals, he can't come close to Peter's perfection. In fact, I can't imagine anyone doing a good cover of Type O, they're just one of those bands.

  • better than the original that's funny but don't gudge the band just for a cover

  • agreeing with @midenseiden type o and HIM are amazing bands.

  • I'm a huge fan of both HIM and Type O Negative but it's a bit painful to listen to Valo's rendition in comparison to Steele's. Oh well, at least he tried haha

  • Wow! Me thinks all these haters suffer from small dick syndrome.

  • fuck u guys, HIM is the best.

  • u failed @ that cover

  • i'm pretty damn open minded, but i just cannot take HIM very seriously. their guitar tones and riffs are pretty cool on a bunch of songs, but that is about it. imhao.

  • i enjoy imagining Steele and Valo in the missionary position :D

  • aaah the way he says baritone(L)

  • it is the only song that that guy SHOULD cover

  • I mean HIM has been around quite a while now, they are not "ToN" good but they are good enough for me.

  • Hispoisongirl is a faggot name, therefore you have no right to make any statement..go eat glass asshole.

  • Ville you peice of shit STEP DOWN TO PETE THE MAN

  • What did he say? lol

  • @Gamagachee Thats I think one of the milestones in that kinda music and one of the milestones musically for Double Rover and things so so they knew that I've got the baritone so they wanted me to do that song and I'm really glad

  • him is the ultimate faggot:D...

  • he just got done putting on his makeup

  • As a type O negative fan as well, of course the cover wasnt BETTER than the original, but it was definitely good. Fuck the haters. Ville was pretty wasted during that performance, but it still rocked. He could totally do an awesome job on that song nowadays. Anyways, Type O needs more bands doing covers of their songs..... FUCK THE HATERS. choke on your dicks.

  • oh yeah, and HIM is an awesome band. If you "macho," heartless headbangers actually knew where HIMs music comes from & means, you would know why HIM iS a great band. Observing many bands, I say the guys from HIM are sum of the only ones nowadays who ARE ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC. They worship bands like Black Sabbath & Type O. Dont talk shit bout those kinda bands' followers. Go cry about shit like the jo bros....or Instead of talking shit about ANY bands, go suck a cock & make yourselves useful.

  • @hispoisongirl36 i totally agree with you :)

  • Anti-doom = Happy?

  • wow that name suits you, coz you really relaxed with that comment didn't you? what a pointless comment

  • Covering type o is just a cheap marketing ploy to legitimise HIMs style of music by creating a link to the progenitors of a popular subgenre of metal cheap marketing trick. Music trancends language, it crosses geographical boundries and cultural changes Music is the pure expression of the spirit and that enables everyone to understand and possibly relate. When music is made by producers replacing artistic input and marketing replaces honest personal expression as with HIM it ceases to be music

  • Producers don't make HIM's music. You are to quick to judge. That is one song being spoken of that was requested that they do. One. The fact that you are trying to define music and say that them doing a cover discredits them as musicians is ridiculous. It is a tribute to a milestone and popular way of showing respect.

  • I suppose that would be the marketing speil. That they didnt even think of doing the tune themselves speaks volumes.

HIM changed rapidly over a short period of time and their music is now different then anything else from their country of origin. Vastly over produced with 100s of tracks going at the same time creating soundscapes that cant be reproduced live. A real band gigs and has songs they can play live.

  • So when you see how heavy and hard rock/doom they are live, it's fuckin brill.

  • HIM is the teeny bop version of Type O Negative.

  • @berzerker34 U must be out of your fucking mind!!!! Type O Negative is UNIQUE!!!

  • I've only heard the drunken version. :(

  • aww

  • i was there and i met him, he did an amazing job ,you assholes

  • interesting

  • so pretttyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
