Hey, direwolf! I have an idea how you could end the series. Craft a bunch of nukes from IC2, place them under the ground near all your structures (base, volcano base, farms, rails, nether portal), transmute all of your valuable stuff into diamond blocks, build a small house of diamond blocks and place a button there with a sign "Upgrade to Minecraft 1.1.0" and wire that button to set off the nukes.

then you go to space after you got sucked in, then you fall back to earth, (you might die!)

new on v3 of portal gun when you die you get striped of all and placed in an aperture laboratory in which a robot will preform a series of test while you risk your life to complete them eventually finding said robot killing it to find out you just pissed it off and then have to risk your life all over again to try to escape, cant wait...

I still think you should have the TF2 teleport mod. The reason is that you can have many portals, only select different frequencies much like the teleport pipes you use.

So basically you set up one in your home base then put down the rest where you want them with different frequencies. Then go back to home base and select the frequencie to the teleporter you want to travel to.

if the "non portable portal thingy" is still in... try putting 10ish of those around the world at different locations and heights and 10 wireless redstone transmitters to turn them on and test that... seems that that was causing a lot of problems in v1 with them breaking or in my case, sometimes they would be 1 block high instead of 2...
