I really hate it when people won't call it like it is. Cathal Kelly didn't make a "mistake", his words weren't taken ut of contest, or anything like that.
Cathal Kelly is an ignorant asshole who doens't give a damn if he offends anybody, as long as it doens't affect the money he makes. I have seen this kind of journalists many times since I left Uruguay, which by the way won't ever, ever, have a journalist capeable of writting anything like this.
The rest of the article has very liitle if anything at all to do with Uruguay, aside's from the comments of the horrible crash, the article is very accurate maybe not expressed in the best matter but accurate to say the least.

And just so you know Korean diaspora earned our respect for playing their hearts out to the end like we do and even having the gesture congratulating our embassy.

" no they are not, Uruguay is not a powerhouse or a very talented team but they have what Uruguyans i think call "Garra", i personally respect any country that has less then 5 million people and have won 2 titles even if when they won is was back when there were 4-12 teams in competition.
What come next is the part where i do agree with you, Mr Kelly gets off topic and talks about economy and brings the horrible comment and memory of the plane crash of the rudby players in the Andes, but i just believe he made an error in trying to express himself, he tries to explain that Uruguay needed to win more than the Koreans did just because for Uruguay the game means just so much more, Korea has so much going for them, when Uruguay is such a small country that is forgotten at times.

The article start by talking about the Korea vs Uruguay game, mentioning that a wonderful (Lucky) strike by Suarez and a horrible mistake by the Korean defence and Kepper give Uruguay the win, in a game where Korea had control of the match, so far i cant disagree if you have Rogers watch the match on demand.
