I hate to shoot down your theory, but my parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and great great grandparents, etc. were all religious. I'm gay and knew when I was a child. I had a gay cousin and his parents were religious. My cousin killed himself because he couldn't face his parents about his orientation.
I'm in a very happy long-term (14 years so far) relationship. Are you suggesting that I give up the person I love more than anyone in the world? I couldn't do that nor would I.
I definitely don't think that you should give up your long term relationship because of the prejudices of those who put Bronze Age bigotries ahead of compassion - particularly those who don't know anything about the subject (reprobate minds, sotospeak).
Many religious people are like the ones I talked about in the video they know God but do not glorify him as God, thus bringing a curse on themselves and their children, that is exactly what I was talking about in the video. I just suggest to you that it is very possible that is how the curse of homosexuality came upon you. all you have to do is pray and ask God, if he is real to reveal himself to you and if you mean that he will.

Why would I, or you for that matter, wish to worship a God that demands such glorifying worship or be cursed? I can't believe a "loving" God would put his people through such tests and hoops, all in the name of glorifying him in just the right manner. It's a "love me just right or be damned" approach. Why would anyone worship such a being?
Well, the Holy Spirit is a gentleman and does not force anyone to do anything they do not wish to do. My video is just to let people know that if they are in a bondage that they are not able to break free from there is a way to freedom. For instance I was in bondage to drinking, partying, self and much more, and Jesus set me free from that.
I guess we will just have to agree to disagree about God. I am happy that you have been able to break free from what you considered to be bondage. I think, however, in the end, you'll find that you actually did that yourself. You're not giving yourself enough credit.
@orientedx4 That's no excuse. Some children have an urge to steal, some like to hurt animals. Jeffrey Dahmer is one example who admitted his sadism was due to his homosexuality. Satan loves to possess children and the very young and innocent.
You can "purge" homosexuality from you life about as much as you can purge being black, green-eyed, or tall. It simply can't be done. God is the one who creates people as gay in the first place, so why argue against His will and decisions? Satan possesses those with weak minds and corrupts them into believing that God's gay children are "bad", but in reality, it's the anti-gays who are Satan's pawns (and spawns).
