Testing my new 200 TDI engine

Hey Smokey. I just joined the Landy owners club :D I'm 21 and I've always loved Defenders so I just got a 90 (maybe not the most practical first car to own but I wouldn't swap it for the world). I'm thinking about getting a 200 Tdi in (it's got a 2.5 N/A at the moment) but can you tell me what the difference between a 200/300 Tdi, a v8 and the original 2.5 N/A are? I have no idea which one I should choose but lots of people have suggested the 200?

hello. what engine was in the car before the 200tdi.

i have a 110 v8 and i wish to swap to a 200tdi.

Hi, There used to be a 2.5 NA engine in, the swap to a 200 TDI wasn't that difficult.

V8 might use different engine mounts and wiringloom.

Hi Phil, yes that is an electric fan. I took one from a chevrolet Corsica and fitted it inside the fan cowl that came with the disco radiator. Edwin.

Wat een prestatie. Helemaal alleen in je 90 gehangen en zo mooi ziet het geheel eruit. Wat een geluk dat de motor zo mooi draait. Veel plezier van je nieuwe motor en vele off road kilometers gewenst.
