The is a rev limter when the car is not in a gear regarless in auto's, You can turn it off in the manual when you turnn satbilty and traction control off, NO limter when theres a load on the engine.

gm's v6's and 4 cylinders always sound imported. the ford essex v6 that they used in the mustangs sounded the best, then they moved to the 4.0 weird ass v6. still a very clean camaro you got bud. sounds good

I was reffering to alot of the GM cars that do have a crappy rev limiter of 4K RPM. They do have higher redline rpms thought. Usually around 6K.

The rev limit never has been 4000 thats the limit in launch mode on 6 speed SS's, u ingage launch control and hold the clutch and stomp the gas, it brings it for 4 grand then u dump the clutch and it takes off
