  • His only 20 WOW

  • when i listened this on the show, i didnt really like it. but then, i put this studio version on my ipod and i listened...and listened...and listened...and listened. --and then i suddenly got the woooow effect!!

now its one of my favorite performance of season 10 !! thats the music casey should do!

  • @Chrisko1492 Yeah, the same with me. I kinda liked it when he did but then I stopped listening to Idol for a while and I listened to it again, and I said "Casey! That was good!"

  • This guy was voted off way too soon. WAY too soon.

  • Casey being voted off is simply proof that America doesn't know shit about talent.

  • Casey Got Voted Off? Well see you guys in the next season :)

  • i think people prefer to hear him singing jazzy songs like this. more than growling...

  • @demondevilw Jazz does allow for, and often contains some well placed growling. It adds a bit of texture & flavor to the song. It's not the same old sounds all of the time.

Casey honey, you are WAY too good for American Idol. While I will miss you TERRIBLY, you are now free to do your thing without being pressured to be somebody else. You go and do your thing YOUR way now; You go ahead and growl all you want to, honey! God bless Casey Abrams!

  • I think he would have stayed if he had sung the song like he did in this recording. Much different than what he did on stage. I agree that Casey is awesome, and his stage performance was fun but he wasn't singing... I think the way he performed it would be great for part of a long evening concert music extravaganza, but as a single performance on a show where the people have been voting to hear his talented and sweet singing (and playing) I think may have felt shortchanged a bit...

  • I'm glad Ryan signaled to him that he was going to be eliminated so that he could collect himself (check out that recording and Casey's reaction, however subtle). SOrry he's gone, but the show is such a drag and eats artists. He is one of the most interesting and talented people ever on the show. Casey is a star anyway. What a bright future. Can't wait for his album.

  • Casey didn't deserve to go before Jacob.

  • @WsodBelieber01 yeah, he deserved to be the American Idol!

  • This song was not Casey's best. Of course, I've never been a big fan of Carole King either. However, he should not have been the one to be eliminated. It should have been Jacob. Oh well, at least Scotty got saved.

  • ughh.... this song.. horrible.

  • This is actually a lot better than his live performance of the song. A good producer can really pull the best performance out of you in the studio. He surely did a lot more singing on this than he did on the Idol stage.

    Thanks for posting.

  • GO Casey

  • Four words:

    Casey, you are....... SAFE!

  • @kswan4christ I wish.... ; -(

  • @The2768Cassia OMG... I can't believe it. :( What in the world is America thinking? Casey is right, the others are all good too; I like them all and mean no disrespect to any of them. But honestly CASEY is the only voice that I could listen to all day and still beg for more. Most of the others I would tire of very quickly. God bless Casey Abrams with MUCH success! May all of his personal and professional goals be met and FAR exceeded.

  • What an awesome recording! This is the direction that Casey needs to go for.. blue/jazz... the arrangement is awesome.. the vocal is so playful and natural..

  • @MrGreatDeals He can go this route if he doesn't want to sell any records. sure.

  • LOVE IT!

  • Brilliant! It's insane, really, so good, that has to be unhealthy

  • @3Glimpse3 "Unhealthy" LoL! As in Dude.... that was SICK! :D
