I don't think it is funny, but the stomping doesn't seem to compliment the music in any way (bad rhythm). My guess is these two just weren't very good at it. Stomping is used quite effectively in Faroese folk music and obviously shares roots with Norwegian folk music.

Endangered Norwegian Folk music? Why is it reffered to as that? Is it becoming a lost art? How sad that would be. :( A folk group at Disney's Epcot plays Norwegian Folk at the Norway pavilion almost everyday. So at least it's being showcased in the U.S.! I love the sound of it!
