  • caught the doc.... it really draws your emotions into it, and no one comes out looking good from it, not even the collins family. panama lewis seems to have either forgotten about waht happened or just doesn't care now.

The fight, shoulda been stopped on headbutt, campbell said he had spots in his vision, and i would love to see a rematch, campbell is a wily vet and warrior who can adjust and give bradley a tough fight next time. keep up the good work.

  • itsabird thanks a lot bro, I feel the same way.

  • Assault In The Ring...damn I would love to do a vid on this documentary....the shit was jacked up bro...real talk

  • Good to see you took onboard all the aspects of the stoppage ... its always interesting the way that everyone that sees the same fight will have an opinion or see something different re a stoppage.I know we often rip on refs and judges and yes i do think in my opinion it should have been a NC ... but the ref has to make a split second judgement and his decision is final so that TKO is gonna be on Campbells rec unfortunately

  • aisling and that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

  • @ Hudathan

Yup and when push somes to shove, I aint gonna lose sleep over it

  • Look Nate deserves another shot and real soon to me Bradley was more active but not effective the punches were thrown sloppy he was hitting Nates shoulder blade most of the time Nate held up hiz arm's blocking with a cross/shell defense not to mention he started off wit jabz that connected etc kidney shotz...it just looked like the fight was just going to start and then ended on the carelessness of Bradley's part not Nates to me thiz fight was up in the air! until then..so we all dont know1

  • kingzdomain I agree, the fight was going good until the headbutt and there is no reason to think it wasn't going to continue being the same way.

  • I didn't see the fight or the documentary, but this is a great analytical video on the merits of a tactical withdraw. who would win a rematch (all things considered)?

  • i think bradley wins the rematch. He was beating campbell. He look faster and stronger than campbell. He even hurt campbell in that fight.

  • hume12345, I think in a rematch Bradley should be ahead in a distance fight unless Campbell can land some flush knockdowns like he did against Funeka. Of course this is if no injuries happen and no bad referee calls.

  • Who would be a referee eh! If you think you have abuse and pressure being a boxing referee, imagine being a football... oh sorry, soccer referee and having 70,00 people shouting the referee's a wan##r lol. Loving your indepth analysis. Nice change of scenery too. Buds been giving you a workout? Thos guns of yours are really coming on. Keep up the good work.

  • Gooniessss, it's like the man said just keep throwing punches and good things happen.

  • Panama lewis is like Suge knight

  • thank god. i thought i was the only one who didnt think the fight would be the same for 12 rounds. Bradley might of won 12 round decision but it wouldhave gotten tough. remember Tim outboxed Holt just as bad if it wasnt for Holt's two knockdows its aland slide

  • dragonstyle, we have 12 round fights for a reason and I was given no indication that Bradley would dominate Campbell, and accidents aside that match up should definitely reach the distance. Holt stopped boxing half way through though so it would be interesting to see someone as seasoned as Campbell trying to hang in there. I'm not sold on Bradley just yet, he's solid but nothing special to me.

  • i just think too many people jumped on the "well he was winning so i guess that means he'd win 12 round decision" I mean Zab Judah would be undefeated right now if his fights were just 3 rounds. Cotto vs. Margarito first few rounds if it ended on a headbutt boxing writters would be saying "cotto would have won anyway. You saw him outbox Margarito with ease"

  • actually Zab would have one loss on his record... Tzu fight. but you know what i mean lol

  • That's mean dragonstyle but funny none the less. We rip on Zab, out of love.

  • This fight was a joke, how can they call it a tko from a headbutt? The ref needs to lose his job after that decision. Campbell probably took some retina damage in his eye from those butts. Bradley leans in with the head way too much he reminds me of bhop the way he leans in, looking for headbutts.

  • fluoride I know some folks called it before the fight that Bradley was going to be all over Nate with his head, big ups to them. David Mendoza is officially on my shit list for covering himself after making the wrong call.

  • Yeah Mendoza saying it was a punch "after" the headbutt that caused the cut lol, what a punk. The home town bias was almost as bad a fight in Germany.

  • fluoride true that brother.

  • have a wonderful time in CA

  • I dont know if you got the pills but it would make sense for the craziness you said about how the decision or turn out of the fight would be controversial and it was!

  • hell yeah he quit

  • great review on the fight i liked the documentary assault in the ring dont like the fact that panama lewis can still make a living by training boxers and resto got the worst out of the situation in my personal opinion lewis should have been banded from anything that has to do with boxing

  • mannygatillo, Panama definitely rubs me the wrong way. Luis Resto seemed like a simple fella who was bound to regret his actions and be the worse for it, while Panama is crafty enough to make sure he's always living the good life. It's hardly fair but at least I had a chance to see some of it for myself.

  • a cliche phrase but

everybody has a plan until they get hit(mike tyson)

  • well I will say this.

if you look close there is not blood from nates eye falling after the headbutt until he is caught in the corner and the blood shows after bradley hit him about 3-4 times then he was hurt at the end of the round,he was not truly getting off comfortably so id say it would of stayed that way cuz bradley seemed to be comfortable...but never know

  • Rob, wouldn't be the first time a fighter needed time to get into a fight, especially against a young guy who starts fast like Bradley. If we judged fights by the first three rounds then we would consider Marquez human fodder against Manny. As for the pills, how do you know I won't bust them out?

  • Well not so much how the fight was going just how nate was performing and how bad he got clipped.

No indication bradley would slow down and nate seem to be getting bossed around I mean 3 rounds is to early to tell but still...Id pick bradley by 6th ko in a rematch.

  • Rob, I don't know if I'd go by Bradley for a stoppage but the fight really reminded me of Andre Berto vs Luis Collazo where the more skilled veteran had to force his way inside to deal with hand speed and volume. I think if they fought again it would have a result similar to Berto vs Collazo, a close and perhaps controversial decision for Bradley.

  • perhaps but I dont think campbell is as tough as collazo.

  • I felt like I was neo on this was the matrix lol!

Thought you was going to bust out the blue or red pill.

    Good fights,Somewhat entertaining outcomes.
