  • very helpful! my hair has always been tough to put up in a ponytail because it is thick. and it has always been frizzy. thanks so much!

  • who is the girl in the bun??

    she seems cool!

  • @TheLaylay0522 ya i have seen her hair video too thats nice must watch

  • what if you have short hair? can you still do dance?

  • @dbzkailc yes - some studios aren't as fussy - or you can get clip on ponytails that you can add to your own hair

  • katrina you look really pretty <3

  • wow i never knew how much effort was needed in a ponytail

  • I have flyaway hairs that are really annoying. If I use hairspray will they stay back throughout a 3 hour practice?

  • @Doglover1911 We would recommend hair gel - we use both gel & hair spray for comps

  • @fitforafeast Thanks!

  • I have flyaway hairs that are really annoying. If I use hairspray on it will the hairs stay in place throughout a 3 hour gymnastics practice?

  • was that you mom doing your hair?

  • @maisywaisywoo No! that is a teenager from our dance studio

  • What if you have bangs? Will they deduct points if you have them not pulled back off your forehead? If you don't do any flips?

  • @randidanca Our studio makes us gel everything back - but you can check with your dance teacher

  • can u mak a video for types of hairstyles for a school dance because idk how i should do mii hair and its this saturdayyy plzzz hrlp

  • the girl doing ur hair looks like spencer off of pretty little liars

  • @MegaSatansBitch indeed

  • that day were you guys actually dancing?

  • @popx598 no - just filming

  • cool .. (:

  • her ponytail was awsome.

  • are marley and emily sisters?

  • @fitforafeast

i take that as a yes kl

    thxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    XD

  • @TheYasmin135 oops - we thought we wrote yes -

  • Marley is a great hair dresser :D

  • Marley is very good in hair. Is it necessary to put hair gel and hair spray?

  • @4evercelina The gel & spray helps to keep it neat, so there aren't any pieces coming out or sticking up. It is important for on stage - especially when you are dancing or moving around. For every day, you probably wouldn't need it - or need as much

  • did u have a recital after this or something? was it super hard to wash out

  • @IACO101 This is for dance competitions or recitals - We have to do the hair perfect for stage

  • IS THAT YOUR MOM?

  • @Flexiballity ?? She is a friend from dance and a teenager.

  • what if u have to curl it but it still has to be in a ponytail? would you curl it then put it in the pony tail or do the pony tail then curl it?

  • @vhs122345 You can do it either way. If you use curlers or spikes, you would curl then gel and put in a pony tail. If you are using a curling iron, usually you put it in the pony tail first, and then curl.

  • Wow, Marlie sure is great with hair! Keep it up, Marlie, Katrina, and Emily!!

  • i love ur hair katrina!!!! :)

  • if you have bangs, like straight-across ones, how should you pull those back?

  • @yaymeIamanut We usually use hair gel and some bobby pins

  • what is there to dislike about this video?

  • where was sloane?

  • @omgily221 It was the end of the day after filming some stuff and Sloane had to go home.

  • Can you make a tutorial for a school dance, sort of hair style. Thanks.

  • @selenaanddemifan1237 If it is a dance on stage - these work great b/c they keep the hair out of your face. We also did vids at the salon for washing, drying, curling and straightening with a flat iron. Hope that helps!

  • @fitforafeast I mean like a semi-formal type of dance.Thanks :)

  • i never thought a ponytail would be this compicated

  • what if your hair is extremely thick and afro frizzy curly - hence impossible to straighten without chemicals? i can get my hair wavy without chemicals but not dead straight.

  • @duckyy88 The main thing for performers on stage is to have the hair neat & out of your face. It probably would not matter if there is some wave to it - just try a heavy duty gel or products made for thicker/frizzy hair to try to get it as tame and neatly back as possible.

  • Marley looks a lot like Holly Marie Combs, but cuter :)

  • Wow, thats cool! Marley looks a lot like Sloane. Are they sisters?

  • No, Marley is a friend from dance & a great ballerina besides being a great hair stylist!

  • can you do a little video showing in a bit more detail how you get those really neat, clean straight parts that we see on dancers hair. pls?

    thanx xx

  • We did the other video on hair buns which have a part. Usually you just need several good combs & a few tries. - Sometimes even after you put the gel you will notice a piece out of place. You just need to go over the part with the comb again & gel the errant piece into place.

  • @fitforafeast ok, i just thought it would make a nice video dem. also the technique for zig-zags too if they aren't too "last week" :-) i lke your vids as you are very good at what you do and make it look easy

  • Love your vids<3

    Love from the Netherlands!

    Marlies xx

  • first baby <3
