  • When you said "isolationist," I assumed you meant non-interventionist. Turns out you meant it.

Would you keep trade with the US good and strong? Or are we Americunts too much hassle to be viable?

  • On the whole native issue are you planning on giving the lump sum to the chiefs? Individually to each native? A mix between the two? Also I don't mean to be an asshole (I am part native) but if you give them pure money they might squander it (mostly on booze and drugs) or will you say pay them in gift cards for clothes, groceries and college tuitions?

  • @hivedragon Hm, now THAT'S an interesting question; whom do you give the money to? Though it's more tactical, not strategic

For the record, one of the major loves of my life was a Native army girl.

I think what has become of the Natives is tragic, but that continued handouts to them will only exacerbate it. Compare a proud black from 1950, to a gangsta in 2012. The best thing that whites can do for the natives is to let them make their own mistakes, and stop infantalizing them.

  • Bang on.

  • So you want to make the native territories like Nunevut into basically a Puerto Rico? That's a pretty smart move actually

  • And I am really diggin' the prison-free alternatives to punishment!

  • LOL at the R. Kelly allusion.

  • are the transfer payments the haves and have nots thing? I got to know an ok amount of Canadian politics talking with self-righteous socialist sycophant canadians from atheistkult.

At least I got their warped perspective of it. Not sure if that's exactly what the transfer payments.

  • @intercourseman69 To be honest? I don't want to say too much on what they are; worried I'll step on my own dick.

Essentially, productive provinces pay welfare to non-productive provinces. Federal-run 'employment insurance' pays fishermen to not-work for six months of the year, because the industry at its current rates of pay (and pricing of product) is unsustainable.

I'd rather just pay more for tuna.

  • @Aurini

So this must be the Newfies and other maritime provinces. The people I've talked to will argue that government regulation is necessary to prevent overfishing and such other things despite the fact that they are practicing price control policies the US implemented during the great depression.

Oh well, if these people are for national mob rule, having an emperor shouldn't be too much of a shock. You may want to edit the national anthem, though.

  • @intercourseman69

oh yeah, robot army, you don't need to make them goosebumpy about having an emperor overlord.

  • @intercourseman69 Interestingly, overfishing is often thought to be a modern/environmental concern, while it's been a historically recognized issue. 1000 years ago, different fiefdoms would each ban the tidal-net fishing along riverways which - while extremely lucrative in the short run - led to extinction. The free market worked - but try telling that to a statist.

  • For the most part, dystopia. I immediately thought of dystopia when you talked about the fucking wires coming out of your head and there being an army of killer robots.

  • So would the military need to make a profit?

  • @paradoarify Yes and no; not measurably, but they must perform.

  • For the most part it sounds like a utopia. Didn't agree with the protectionism, but that's ok. I could make millions smuggling Big Mac's and Brittany Spears cd's.

  • @gombagod The penalty for out-smuggling me is a job, and a pay raise for being brilliant.

  • @Aurini -blushes- That's ironic and convenient, I figured i'd have to be the one to bribe you:-). I anxiously await your rule.

  • Liked most of it, kinda disagree with the protectionism though. I especially liked the treatment of criminals.

  • @reapfreak I came to protectionism completely backwards.

  • I kinda wanna make video like this.

  • Canada sounds like Minnesota

  • Yikes, Now I gotta make an hour long video on me being the emperor of The U.S.

  • Took me 6 months to read.
