I saw this in 7th grade. I had never read the unabridged book yet because 1. I couldn't find it 2. We were told we were reading it in 8th grade. That was last year. I am in 8th grade now and in class we are, as promised, reading it. I have to hand it to Disney, I have seen this movie infinity times as it is the bomb any time of year, anyways, Disney nailed this right on. Word for word so far I swear every line in that book has been in the movie!!!

I will say that Yes like so many people I am not a big fan of motion capture. But does that make it a bad movie? Absolutely not! Jim Carrey was a good fit for the character as well as the three ghosts. And despite a few sections, it's a pretty accurate portrayal of the book.
