She appeared at the National Eisteddfod in Swansea and sang a few Welsh folksongs with incorrect words and missed out verses and got paid a fortune. You could have asked any girl on the field to do that concert and they would have sung her off the stage! Opera singer?-put her on a stage and see if you can hear her!

She just won the same Towyn Robertws Prize at the National Eisteddfod that Bryn Terfel won in 1987, but he had to share it. Gwawr won it alone. How lucky the world is to have her incredible voice, discipline, and humor.
Gwawr Edwards is the new Katherine Jenkins - the difference is Gwawr CAN actually sing, she is absolutely AMAZING. I was at college with Gwawr... She deserves her success. She consistently worked very hard and made excellent progress. Jeff was wonderful as ever.
