@Samflipssxo We do have a 2nd team for people that may excel in one area but need to work on others, however, since we are strictly a coed team it is required that all guys stunt, since you have time, you should start working on it! Hope that helps! :)

@Samflipssxo from someone who was once in your shoes (and weighed out at 145 lbs at the start btw), I highly recommend giving it a shot. If you can tumble, you can stunt! It's all about technique - we've got rewind cupies coming from people that weigh 155 on the team, it's just all in the legs man!

@Samflipssxo Just go to Hawaii Pacific University instead. They are NCA, so not all the guys have to stunt. If you are a good enough tumbler, you could make the squad to do just that.

No problem, just wanted to set the record straight. Well keep working on that tumbling, but if you want to make Hawaii you will need to have your stunting too. A standing back tuck and a running full are required to make the squad out there. Most of the squads we compete against have the same standards. Yes we were on Paula Abdul. It's not that at all. The cheerleaders do not go into the program knowing how to do what you see. They learn it IN the program. So, the best thing to say is that The University of Hawaii's Cheerleading Program is top notch. Right up there with Kentucky.
