  • You arch straight away!! jump and then arch!! dont jump and arch at the same time!! you always hit the bar with your head!! also you take off to far away! you could be so much better if you take off closer and arch a bit later

  • u r 2 far out in ur take off

  • U need to work more on your hips and get them to the top point of your jump the would help you get better hight

  • stefan holm is better than you!

  • nothing to do with title of vid anyway

  • nothing to do with title of vid anyways

  • you will get good with practice you get a lot of clearance and your form isnt even good yet, i say you will do very well very soon, good luck

  • LISTEN!!!! youre take off is too far away and you do not hold your arch long enough. You kick out too early and thats why your ass hits it every time.

  • nice speed going to the bar and sick hops. I cleared 6'6 in high school and the only thing I would recommend is focusing on pushing your shoulders towards the mat (almost like trying to do a backflip but then snatch at the end) and this should make you clear 6'6 easy!!!

  • This guy is just jumping 2 far out. Minor correction and you will see a nice improvement in your jumps. Definitely got the height to go 6'4 6'6 though

  • serious potential. you have great height and good technique, but you need to tweak it for those higher jumps

  • how old?

  • 18, but only started jumping at 17

  • My advice would be to move back to a 10 step approach, and move yourself toward the pit from your starting point about 7-10 feet. You need to run faster through that approach and get more of a curve, which will in turn create more momentum so your ass doesn't land on the bar anymore. Your hips are over the bar, but your ass doesn't have enough rolling momentum to not hit the bar. That's my two cents at least.

  • You Jump To Early

  • ur problem is that you step out of your curve, this means you run along the bar more then u should be. therefore your going along the bar instead of over it this is why you come down on the bar . if you go more directly towards the bar in ur run-up ur create more vertical power and just enough horizontal power to get over the bar

  • u cant jump realy high for ur height, u just nead to watch ur feat so it dosent kick the bar and it falls down

  • I think you arch too early, and you could use more speed. Nice jump though white people can jump, just not as good as black people.

  • all these kids talk shit. but then none of them have a video of them doing it. haha so yeah. SEXY jump. u got it. u really showed that white kids can jump.

  • ahha too bad troy bad you cant jump lol jay kaay

  • props.

you started leaning into it towards the end though, hence ur head hitting the bar. watch ur right foot too, that looks like it could give ya trouble.

  • You are a mile above 6ft, you need to jump a little closer to the bar and not arch so early, your head is hitting the bar. Your vertical and form is great, you just need to elevate and then arch instead of doing it simultaneously. Im working on the same thing with one of my girl jumpers right now

  • yeah all u 5'10" faggots in 8th grade, thts bull shit.

anyway, seriously man ure really good, hold ure arch a little longer and u got 6' 4" with the height ure getting, seriosly try it

  • dude your awesome youll get the 6 footer

  • ay, u should move ur steps in a little, you are peaking so high in front of the bar

  • speed = more steps

  • yay ur in 8th grade. this kid can actually jump 6'2 this was a bad weather meet with no competition

  • i can jump 5'10" as well... and im in 8th grade.

  • bossy joe. u almost had that last 6 footer
