well you see my computer was busted and i had my ipod on me, got a new computer, put it into itunes and the error 0x80000068 occured then i found that i had to reset it in order to connect to my itunes, when i resetted it doesnt have any of my music at all because i couldnt connect into itune in the first place, anyone know what do?

you can keep on redownloading the software and it will let you download the 100 songs at a time. it'll be a long process, but if you lost over 1000 songs and over 10 movies like i did then its worth it!

I've just started using ephpod (v2.75) and I've come across a really annoying problem; I have some mp3s with id3 tags but when ephpod tries to import them it pops up the 'modify song configuration' window; I've tried to enable and disable the Tag Info From Directories option, and i see it making the change to the registry entry but regardless of whether it's enabled or disabled the popup shows regardless.

Thanks for this BUT it is not correct that you cant recover your music from the IPod wihout ITunes. You only need to have it in manual mode and that also you can do in the Ipod without ITunes

there is a much easier way plug in ur ipod. goto the ipod folder when the folder is open goto the tools section on the task bar click folder options then change from General to View Scroll to where it says Hidden Files And Folders switch it to show hidden files and folders and then new hidden music and video folders will appear those folders will have sub folders and each will have weird names like ***** where each star is a different letter the next process to do it copy them all and re-name XD

They try and hide this now and sell CopyTrans instead for $20 (this only allows 100 songs for free trial), but you still want to d/l ephpod. I used v. 2.75, but there is a newer one available. It is at the bottom of the page. It works fine for older iPods. I don't think it works for the Touch ones though as they have new software.

Or you can just use winamp since it can rip any media files off of any device. It will also add it and organize it in your library the same way its on your device. Plus winamp is free and way easier.

Around the 4 min mark of following what you said, after ctrl A and right clicking (then copy to dic.) I get a message saying "Source file not found". Now what? I have a ipod nano 3rd gen.
