You are making false statements. The Catholic Church does not even recognise Medjugorje as an apparition site. Alot of the people selling trinkets in the village are actually moslem store owners. Do not dismiss Medjugorje entirely though. We went there in 1990 and saw the sun miracle happenings. We saw and filmed a white disc over the sun that allowed us to stare into the sun with no eye protection and there was no damage to our eyes. We also saw the sun spin with multi colours coming from it.
@DevilsWhiskey . You have no understanding of what is going on in Medjugorje. There are supernatural events happening there. The sun spins in the sky, multicolors come out of it. This has been witnessed by hundreds of thousands of people. A white disc forms over the sun allowing you to stare directly into it without damage to your eyes. I personally witnessed this and even got it on video. You have to be in Medjugorje to witness these things. Not everyone in the world sees them.
so it fine for people who believe in God to have proof of Gods existence (shown a "miracle" but i cannot. What about doubting Thomas he was lucky enough to have proof why can't i?
@Bosconote You should never stare at the sun. I know a guy who did just that at Medjugorje. He could 'see' the sun for a period after that and he hurt his eyes. I'm not sure if he did permanent damage or not. The supposed visionary in Ireland recently also had people looking at the sun and damaging their eyes.
@Dermot558 Thanks for your warning about not looking directly at the sun. Yes I know some silly people have looked at the sun when it is in its normal state and damaged their eyes. When I looked directly at the sun it had a strange white disc that was slightly smaller than the sun's circumfrence. You could see the fire coming from the edge of the sun but there was no discomfort to my eyes. I looked at it for at least 10 to 15 minutes.
@Bosconote Yeah I know exactly what you mean as I have experienced it myself. Unfortunately, it is perfectly possible to do this. There is no supernatural event here. It is a normal phenomenon. Sadly, one will damage one's eyes if one does this.
I have no damage to this day. I could not have done this if the sun was in its normal state. If I had it would have done serious damage in seconds not minutes. Go to Medjugorje yourself and witness for yourself. Then you can make an informed comment on what you have seen. I videoed the phenomenon and it came out on the video exactly as I saw it.
@Bosconote No camera records exactly what the human eye sees. It's not possible. I have been to Medjugorje. I was in a group and one of the guys in my group hurt his eyes looking at the sin. I'm not sure if the damage was permanent or not. I have an informed opinion on Medjugorje. I go by what the local Bishop has said. Google 'Medjugoje A Warning, by Michael Davies' for more information.
Our Lady said that no one will enrich the Medjugorje!
