wow thanks for the quick reply. found a free version. never did something like that before, wanna do it just for fun. is it easy..or beginner friendly?
Hmm... The interface is easy enough (in my opinion, but maybe that's just me *l*), but if you REALLY want your cg creations to shine, I suggest you study the 12 principles of 2D animation.
Bob, what the hell have you done to that poor guy? You Bastard LOL JK By the way, I am done drawing the animation. I need to color it, then, it is YouTube time!
at the risk of sounding like a broken record...but looks great.
you make this figure and than take pictures of it in poses like it was a stop motion figure?....no wait you program the movements and then film it right?
Actually this version of Maya is kind of a weird creature to deal with. The movements of this character ARE programmed, but I can't render it as a full animated clip (unlike some of my other animations, like Chicken & a Candle or CG Doodle). I had to render each frame 1 by 1, all 300 of them, and then compile them together into the final animation like how I've been doing my 2D animations. :P
Shoot man, nobody taught me how to do any of this animation stuff.
