Actually, I'm a huge fan of rottweilers. Rotties are powerful, intelligent and with proper training will never let you down.
Like a rottweiler, Hsing-I isn't fancy. But it is effective. Hsing-I can be offensive, but more than likely it 's counter-offensive. One thing it isn't is defensive. A Hsing-I fighter generally doesn't block; he uses the 5 elements and 12 animals to counter an attack with and attack. And once in contact with an attacker, keeps the barage going until victory
BTW...Hsing-I is probably the MOST MARTIAL and LEAST SPORTING of popular martial arts styles. It evolved from the training methods of medievel Chinese infantry. An infantryman in medievel China wouldn't have bothered with fancy moves. Because he might be expected to remain spear to spear with the enemy for hours, he needed to have perfected technique, and not rely on strenght.
So while Hsing-I is agressive, it's internal because it emphasizes developing power through simplicity
modifide hsing i all five elements should be in the tiger form missing like 3 other moves in snake but but hsing i in the last 30 years for u
