Maybe the song didn't need the hard rocking edge? To say Chris Knight doesn't have "Edge" clearly hasn't listened to all his albums! He rocks harder than this on his new album! Anyway, this still sounds good and I am not going to slate CCR for covering this as they do it well in a different style.
