  • I'll bet you are a stinking mormon.

  • 1) I doubt you have gay friends. Your attitude toward gay marriage could not possibly allow you to have gay friends, unless those so called friends are completely self hating and/or stupid.

    2) Marriage is a word, not a reason for you to judge whether others may or may not use that word.

    3) Draw a big square around yourself because you are a complete moron.

  • If any definition is not inclusive to all, then fuck the definition. Yeah, many years ago, the white trash defined freedom as being between other white trash people. So, what this prick is really saying is that marriage is antigay. With friends like this, who needs enemies? His gay friends should whip smack him across the side of his head until it knocks something loose inside that tiny little mind of his.

  • Wow, for someone who so strongly opposes gay marriage you sure are pretty swishy. Methinks thou doth protest too much.

  • There are some things that my friends choose in their lives that I wouldn't choose for myself because I don't agree with them. However, the because I am their friend, and because I respect their liberty and the importance of equality, I would never try to make the difference in our values imposed by law.

That's the difference here: you're not happy with having the freedom to disagree, you want to deny that which you disagree with. That's not friendship.

  • Marriage has NOT always been defined between a man and a woman. Gay marriage existed in the Greek and Roman times. So, I guess your entire premise is wrong.

  • @cryan71 No, it didn't...

  • @AssProKicker

Sorry that actual history conflicts with your beliefs, but its true.

  • @cryan71 No, I'm actually gay and now I've done some research.

Two Roman emperors did marry men. One of them was Nero, the other one was Elagabalus. Constantius II and Constans outlawed MALE homosexual marriage, so it did exist. You're right on that one. Women were not mentioned, though.

In Greece homosexuality was highly tolerated, and it was often pederastic, but I'd never heard of same-sex marriage. And I was right, it didn't exist. Marriage was between a man and a woman in ancient Greece.

  • Talk to all of your gay "friends" about it in person before you make this permanent decision.

This treats one group of people differently and our country doesn't stand for that.

Blacks and whites could not marry in the past, would you have denied those couples the right to marry?

Women couldn't vote in the past, just because that is how it was doesn't mean that it's right.

  • Hate to break to you, even it does pass it still be challenged by the state supreme court or 9th circuit court of appeals,or another proposition to nullify that proposition. Either way you lose and just delaying the inevitable.
