i have t8100 core 2 duo 2.1 gh CPU, nvidia geforce 8400 gt grafic card. i can play crysis, COD2 , COD4 modern warfare 1 and 2 .

you shoul be carefull that GPU (grafic card) doesnt get too hot. over 80C° can burn the GPU. i suggest you to use an extra cooler under your laptop when it gets hot.

can help me and get back to me plz! i install this game on my vostro and as soon as i start up the campaign it freezes on the first training level right when the camera zooms down and your standing in front of the warehouses and ill have to restart the comp. on my other comp with a tower i simply just had to turn on the realtek stereo mix and it worked. as for this problem i dunno wuts wrong. can anyone help? thx

you know whats retarded in every call of duty game when you run it with a high res moniter and It lags and Bioshock or HL2 runs well in 1440/900 but COD4 runs like shit same with a bunch of other games like crysis I just don't get it like come on the 360 displays up to 1080p and doesn't lag I guess its a speical build of the game

You can play many games, but no one from 2002 and up, GMA graphics are good, but not for betters games, i mean, you can play some games like Mafia, Call of duty 1, Warcraft, Fear at low details, etc ...

can you run this at 1000+ resolutions and have 30 fps+? with everything on low of course and also in multipalyer cuz I'm getting almost exact same notebook but its an vostro 2510 with 1.8 dual core and 3 gigs of ram with xp on it, so plez tell me if it can go up to 1000+ resolution :)

probley a good idea to make sure you have duel core, and for perfection with high settings I would try getting 4gigs of ram.

This vid helped me with Cod4 alot thanks! But there's one problem I have with my Vostro that I don't know to fix. For some reason Youtube won't let me logg in on it; it doesn't say that I have a wrong password or anything of that matter. Just simply nothing happens. I overclocked the 8400mGS on my vostro 1400, from 400c-500m to 600c-750m, temp difference is negligible "about 5 degrees", still well within safe boundaries. And the performance boost is most definitely noticeable! I used 169.09 driver with the "laptopvideo2go" .inf, and rivatuner. Works like a charm.

80c is fine!, GPU temps are always MUCH higher than cpu temps. mine usually goes from 77-85c under full 3D load, depending on room temperature and time spent playing, "my stock clock temps were 75-80". GPU's can withstand up to 130c, but I'd recommend staying under 100. As long as you don't see "particles", or notice throttling, it should be fine. As I understand it, the 169.09 driver is for desktops, but if BEFORE installing it you exchange nv4_disp.inf with laptopvideo2go's .inf it works fine.

HEY THANKS for your suggests, i downloaded 169.09 driver also mod .inf and do some copy and replace it then i could install 169.09 driver! it's so easy! now my laptop could run c&c kane wrath, assassin creed, nf prostreet in highest quality *0* and my highest temp were up to 90c haha

you should be able to play crysis in med high graphics pretty smoothly with a decent fps! cse there is a video of a 1500 vostro playing it smoothly! check it out.

When i bought it yes =S, Dell hadn't relased the Xp Driver (I tried with a beta modified .inf), now you can download it from dell's support center and there's no problems with games =), the only game that i can't run on the Lap is Crysis =S, well... it runs but in average 10 fps xD....

I'm waiting for assasins creed game too ...
