Look up 'beyong comparison' and 'beyond compare' on the web and see what shows up. Only one of them can be found in dictionaries. That's 'beyond comparison'..
Perhaps you can use his way to handle HKCEE exam or A-Level exam, but don't for daily use, simple english is good english, language is for communication, if people don't understand what you say cos you use a lot of uncommon english words, it's failed. 其實Richard有講過佢係語文愛好者,所以佢唔單單想識一d日常既英文,而且想對英文呢個語言有多d深入既理解.有時佢會教大家一d文學既字詞,但係佢係真係對呢d字詞有認識先會同大家講,而唔係正係想講呢個字出黎咁簡單,有好多既英文字佢都知道背後既出處同故事.而且佢每次都有同大家講其實某d用字係唔岩日常生活用,佢冇叫大家一定要用.另外,佢雖然識呢d文學既用語,但係唔計呢d,佢英文其實真係好好.發音方面,雖然佢唔算做得好好,但係亦未話去到大家講差到咁.每個人都有自己熱愛既事,佢對語文就有果份熱誠,可能佢態度大家覺得唔係咁好,但佢有時都係將佢所識既同大家分享,大家又點解要對佢咁反感呢?唔中意學既朋友大可以跟從番自己學英文既路線,但如果同樣對英文想了解得多d既,咪可以有個參考既地方.

在video說什麼歡迎指教這些垃圾, 其實是客套話, 吹水嘢, 他一心只想show off和賣廣告, 想告訴大家他補習天王的"實力". 一口港式發音, 還說什麼"才子"在場, 所以應景用pulchritude, so lame. 炫耀vocab才是真.
不如你用thesaurus把整個重新translate, 說出來才夠"深奧", 人家不明白, 以為你好勁囉.

His diction was appalling. In just two words, ‘Beyond compare’. I could spot three mistakes.
Firstly, his vowel sound ‘o’ was totally wrong. It was not ‘o’. It is o-wu in received pronunciation. Secondly, his ‘d’ in ‘beyond’ was far too soft. His consonant ‘r’ was not very distinctive to ‘w’.
Instead of saying, correctly ‘be-y(ow)-d c(ow)m-pa-re’, he said ‘be-yo com-pa-we’.

@makolojun I have been living in England for most of my life, I went to Primary, Secondary and University here, and even got a Masters!! and I haven't heard any body used that word. He's an idiot!! That prob an old english word, which no body would use! I don't even think the Queen would use it, as Queen's English is normally classed as "Real" English or Posh English! What a nob head!
