  • i hate mad gear zone's boss.

  • Wtf it doesn't let me do that at the end.

  • Why am I missing these games?? I mean I've never even heard of sonic colours until I played Generations

  • @Demonsword92 I don't know. Lack of advertising. Disappointment in Sonic games over recent years discouraging?

Well, Sonic has gotten better again now. Of course, there was an area he never went wrong and that would be the handheld games like Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure for DS.

  • Some of them accually r remakes...but still i don't have the game but it still looks cool! :D

  • @Optimus5011 Regardless, if you want to enjoy a newer Sonic game that is just like the classics, with a few new twists, you should download Sonic 4. It is only $15. You'll need one of those points cards to download it if you are using the Wii. I believe you have points cards on 360 and PS3 as well, but I'm not sure.

  • I don't get it why they r using old bosses...this sonic 4 they should make new bosses!Like sonic 1,2 and 3 they never used old bosses in those games

  • sonic is blllueee and likes chilidogs!! not to mention tails is worthless! thats the only story line i need

  • @jesta556 But Tails can fly.

  • sonic CD is better than this.

  • @razoremblem I can't agree or disagree on that. I still have yet to play the game.

  • @Sly88Frye Grab a copy 400Microsoft points

  • @razoremblem I don't have a 360. Someday, I may get my hands on Sonic CD. I can't just miss out on another Sonic classic like that one. I have already beaten 1, 2, 3, and Knuckles, and 3 & Knuckles.

I probably buy Sonic Gems Collection which has Sonic CD, Sonic R, and a few not as much played others.

  • @Sly88Frye Dude I got sonic CD for pc in a 5 pack of sonic 1, 2, 3, CD, and R. :P

  • @BABCDROPSHOT That's pretty cool!

  • They made the Sonic 2 final boss easier...

  • @Idazmi7 Yes.

  • @Sly88Frye he's hard to me Yuji Naka fixed it where i can't beat the egg robot because he discrimnates against me for being born autistic

  • I fucking give up Happy now Yuji Naka?

  • @Sly88Frye You think? I thought Sonic 2's final boss was much easier.

Granted you don't get any rings but the pattern is really easy, just don't get greedy with the hits and he should be beaten easily. But Sonic 4's final boss can catch you out at the worst of times. That's just me though.

  • @Shadsilvson11 Thanks for your feedback.

  • @Shadsilvson11 He was hard until i figured him out after 2 hours of stress and racking up 107 lives

  • @Shadsilvson11 thats so true, but every1 disagrees

  • Still waiting for a full 3D Sonic game based on SatAM...

(SatAM is searchable here on Youtube)

  • If they ever make a SatAM game they better not make it be canon to the game universe of Sonic.

  • @edward18517 I agree. It should be entirely separate. Just a different continuity that happens to also have a game. It's amazing that Sonic Canon fans can't recognize the fact that Sonic has MULTIPLE CANONS. I swear, If I hear that Julian Robotnik is Eggman's grandfather one... more... time...

    >:-(

  • If I hear the name Julian at all in the games.

I wonder how much different it'd be if the western countries hadn't changed Sonic's story when he was brought over here. Him still being just a hedgehog on Earth stopping Dr. Eggman.

  • @edward18517 Gerald, not Julian, in the games. Also, the West wrote the the story first.

  • I know it's Gerald. I just was saying that Julian is not a part of the games what-so-ever.

And all I meant was sticking to the original story of Sonic being on Earth and all that.

  • @edward18517 Oh okay. In any case, would it be that hard for Sega to just support BOTH continuities? I liked it when there were more continuities and no-one argued. Before the Sonic Adventure retcon there were five continuities, and no one argued:

    Sega Games

    Fleetway

    SatAM

    Underground

    OVA

  • well then you have the fans that split the games. The people in Japan grew up knowing Sonic to be on Earth and fighting Dr. Eggman while the ones here grew up knowing it to be Mobius and fighting Robotnik.

Either way, the cartoons and comics haven't ever mattered storywise. The only real story has only ever been the games regardless of what people do and don't like of the other stuff.

  • @edward18517 The games never had a story. If they did, explain it to me.

The fact is, SA2 started those arguments, I think you know it. NO Sonic story ever meant anything, and I knew what a "different version" was a 5 years old. The games cannot be the only story, otherwise the sonic fanbase (especially now) would be VERY small.

  • In Sonic 1 Eggman tries to take over the world after finding out about the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic goes to stop him.

Eggman then creates the Death Egg in Sonic 2 to ensure victory of taking over the world. Sonic stops him again and finds out about going super and stuff.

Sonic 3 the Death Egg from 2 is getting reconstructed and Sonic and Tails land on Angel Island where they meet Knuckles. Stop Eggman and the Death Egg crashes into Angel Island for Knuckles plummeting it into the ocean.

  • It's revealed in Knuckles that there is also a Master Emerald that controls the Chaos Emerald and Eggman makes off with that and FINALLY gets the Death Egg back up and running. Sonic eventually stops him again and returns the Master Emerald to Angel Island so that it floats again.

Knuckles afterwards has to deal with an Eggrobo that tries to take over Angel Island.

    CD and 4 then happen.

Then Adventure happens and we get quite a bit of information. It turns out that the Chaos Emeralds

  • were originally guarded with the Master Emerald by the being Chaos and, due to the intereferance of Knuckles ancestors, it caused an event that lifted Angel Island from the Mystic Ruins.

Ages later Eggman finds out about Chaos and releases it. Gets all the Chaos Emeralds and destroys Station Square. The group finds out about positive and negative energy of the Emeralds and we learn about the ancient incantation to control the master Emerald in a flashback. Super Sonic stops Perfect Chaos.

  • As for the arguing, that would have eventually happened no matter what. People didn't argue because most of the audience was kids that had no idea about the concept of different continuities and few even knew there was more than one continuity back then. Once they found out, no matter if Adventure had decided to merge things from the English and Japanese games or not, people would have still argued about what was the real story.

  • Adventure 2 happens and Eggman releases Shadow the Hedgehog who was probably based on the prophecy mural of Super Sonic fighting Eggman in the background of the Knuckles fight during Knuckles while Biolizard was probably based on the mural of Perfect Chaos in the Lost World. Chaos Control is learned about, LOTS of stuff happens, moon gets blown the **** up, Sonic puts the fake emerald in the Eclipse Cannon causing it to malfunction but Eggman gets all the Emeralds while Tails is distracted.

  • This starts up the sequence Gerald had designed to crash the Ark into Earth. They make their way to the core where Knuckles needs to recite the incantation to get the Master Emerald to stop the other Emeralds. Biolizard gets in the way, Shadow takes care of him. Biolizard merges with Ark, Super Sonic and Super Shadow stop it. Shadow falls to Earth presumed dead.

Later Rouge finds Shadow-okay I'm getting tired of writing the story out. If you've played the games you should know there's a story.

  • @edward18517 Relation to the other Sonic games, now.

  • ...did you not read? Sonic 1 connects to 2 because Eggman's building the Death Egg since his previous attempt was much less awesome. 3 connects to 2 because the Death Egg from 2 is being rebuilt. Knuckles connects to 3 because the Death Egg has crashed into Angel Island and is being reactivated. Adventure connects to Knuckles because it deals with Angel Island's history and gives more background to the Emeralds. Adventure 2 connects to Adventure because Gerald obviously based all his crap off of

  • the Ancient Echidna's stuff. Also references Tails saving Station Square and the Master Emerald incantation. Heroes connects to Adventure 2 cause it brings Shadow back and has groups of characters from past games working together. Metal Sonic also absorbs Chaos' DNA from Froggy and Chocola and he talks about how he could never beat Sonic ala CD. Also talks about the Egg Carrier. Shadow connects to Heroes because it fully explains what happened to Shadow after Adventure 2.

  • @edward18517 What about classic sonic? or does Sega ignore that?

  • I went over the classic Sonic games.

  • @edward18517 Where is the plot, or is "Eggman never does anything but lose after anonthr try" the whole plot?

  • ....I've explained to you the plot in like three different ways by this point. The Death Egg stuff itself should show that there was a much more complex plot than Eggman just losing constantly as well as the Master Emerald revelation and Angel Island as a whole.

  • @edward18517 Same Death Star ripoff fails again.

  • ...and your point is?...

  • @edward18517 How does that make it the "only imortant storyline"? And when did Amy Rose show up without Sonic CD? And did you know that SatAM was written before any Sonic Games had a story at all?

  • Because it's the game. It's the real story. That's why it's important.

And the games were made before SatAM. Even if 1's story wasn't impressive, it still had one and as such the games had a story before SatAM was even thought up.

  • @edward18517 Sonic likes chili dogs.

  • Good for him?

  • @edward18517 Unlike you, I understand that there are multiple Sonic storylines.

  • ....how don't I understand?

  • @edward18517 Quote you: "The Sonic Games are the only important storyline anyway"

  • That doesn't mean cartoons and comics based off the games haven't been made. Just cause it's the only one that matters doesn't mean it's the only one there is.

  • @edward18517 Thank you.

  • your welcome?

  • @edward18517 I guess?

  • well you said thank you. I'm confused as to why you said it.

  • how did eggman outrun sonic???

  • why am i hearing this on the left side of my speaker

  • @564mark4 I recorded it in mono. I had only 1 audio cable plugged in while recording.

  • @Sly88Frye k

  • @retardedmario1 I have it on the iPod and the graphics aren't too good

  • Cool

  • I died at the end where the floor caves in and I was PISSED, This video showed me where to stand in order to get away thanks for the upload

  • @KaeruthePaladin Your welcome!

  • Well, what do you know? The final battle is a remake of the final battle of Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

  • @Ebb1993isgreat lol!

  • @Sly88Frye Hehe.

  • I've only bought Sonic 4 2 Days ago and got up to the final boss today. So freaking hard that i had to listen that annyoing music over and over again.

  • @XxLiamxXTEX lol! Oh, so that is what was making this boss so difficult. jk!

  • @XxLiamxXTEX all i can i say is practice makes perfect and play casinopolis act 2 to grind extra lives

  • @tfp1119

    i already finished :D

  • Nice, Robotnik took a hint from Dr Wily (Boss rematches)

  • ID PREFER IF THAT FIRST SONG LEADING UP TO IT WAS THE FINAL BOSS MUSIC!

  • @supersonicdrawer That's understandable. It's a pretty intense song and fast paced.

  • this is the lamest boss theme i've ever heard. hell the whole soundtrack is just plain generic.

  • @Nastara I find it funny how you think that the whole soundtrack is just generic. Why? Because I think the music from Act 1 and Act 2 of Mad Gear Zone is amazing! At least the music from the Wii version that is. It ranks up there with Flying Battery Zone Act 2 music in Sonic and Knuckles and Marble Garden Zone Act 2 music in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in my opinion.

  • i kinda agree with nastara. the music here is okay but very annoying after awhile.

  • Hey! I thought sonic was the fastest! How can eggman be faster?

  • @LilRobertish I don't know. But, ever since the original Sonic the Hedgehog came out, he can run as fast as Sonic. Really strange.

  • @Sly88Frye WEIRD!

  • i remember in sonic 2 before battling the final boss sonic had to chase robotnik to the egg mech. i thought it looked hilarious.

  • one of the most difficult egg man boss i think. (sonic 1 and 2 were so easy, i can't say about the 3rd i never really play of it and discover it by rom and emulator =) )

  • lol Robotnik will always be the most powerful being in the universe, not even Super Sonic can withstand it.

  • @4:52

Eggman was running so fast becase there was a chocolate cake in the robot that he wanted to eat!

  • To be Honest Sonic 4 is a Ripoff of Sonic 1 & 2, Sonic 5 should Out Do Sonic 3.

  • This boss caught me by surprise, the rest of the game was so easy but then this thing ate through 10 of my lives

  • @eateroftheflame Yeah. This boss was indeed hard.

  • i like how robotnik is kicking it old school using his old machines from the previous sonic games since the genesis era

  • HIS NAME IS DR. IVO "EGGMAN" ROBOTNIK! BOTH NAMES ARE CORRECT!

  • WHY IS ROBOTNIK SOMEHOW FASTER THAN SONIC I MEAN ISN'T HE A FAT LAZY MAN AND SONIC IS MEANT TO BE THE "FASTEST THING ALIVE" I'D CHANGE IT ROBOTNIK SEENING AS HE'S FASTER THAN SONIC

  • @DalekJamie12 It is rather bizarre how that works. Maybe he's on some major steroids or something. He has always been able to run like this even in the original Sonic the Hedgehog. It just doesn't make sense.

  • The music for the last boss sucks!

  • @Rudyfourth

do you mean it just repeats. thats whats annoying

  • this game... looks like a disappointment..

  • @BWEEBLAST I'm sorry to hear that. This game seems to have many mixed reviews. This game is actually quite a lot of fun and has some interesting levels although they are very similar to the old ones in Sonic 1 and 2, nonetheless they do have some new things going on in some levels.

Professional reviewers of this game mostly like it, but the fans views are very mixed.

  • I had a lot of problems with the final boss's second phase and couldn't figure out how to beat him (playing on my iPod). I had to look up a walkthrough to know how to beat him. I had over 300 lives, but I didn't like the game anyway and I didn't want to figure it out.

  • @RabidKanid Then again, based on your video, the view for me never zoomed out. The camera was right up against sonic the entire time so the lights would go red and suddenly his mech just came stomping at me. So it's not like I could actually see what I needed to.

I could possibly just blame it on being a shitty port.

  • I only had two problems with this game. 1:) Sonic came out of his ball in mid air and smacked into in an enemy. Why would he do that? 2:) I got all the chaos emeralds but couldn't use super sonic on any of the bosses.

But that last one is more of an annoyance than a problem. Outside of those two the game was epic fun. Can't wait for Metal Sonic in supposedly is episode 2.

ps. Hey did you know you could hit that claw in mid air? Seriously I found that out yesterday.

  • Now this boss fight i really like. Nice video.

  • @Misteltein Thanks!

  • All of the old sonic games (except for sonic 1) all finish the gae in space which is kinda boring because sega are not that original anymore

  • @lilmattere Sonic 3 did NOT finish in space. Sonic 3 & Knuckles did, but that game is a combo of Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles.

You are right about lack of creativity though. Just remakes of old bosses in this game.

  • dr eggman is gay

  • @arnarmar2000 That name indeed sucks. Robotnik is a much better name.

  • @Sly88Frye you said it

  • @arnarmar2000 Indeed. They should have kept to the old name.

  • @arnarmar2000 That WAS his original name in Japan. US changed it to Robotnik. Personally, I like Eggman better.

  • I just noticed you can see the whole world with their respective continents.

  • i wouldn't wait til the last second to dodge

  • dudes i have been playing sonic since it first came out all of them 123 except 4 im not to crazy about the graphic engine it is actually a down grade from genesis version sonic handles like a brick on 4 i was heart broken also no metal sonic WTF.for my sonic fix i play sonic ps3 ultimate genesis collection along with streets of rage but i digress new levels would have been great not just better graphics dont waste your money on this unless you are totally new to sonic then i guess its cool.

  • @102611ful Dude, you almost confused me with your statement because there are no periods there to make sentences. Please at least put periods at the end of your sentences so you don't confuse people.

Anyways. I played Sonic since the beginning as well. My favorite game was Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I love that game. Of course the graphics then weren't great. They were good for it's time though

Also, Sonic 4 is split into episodes and only a $15 game. I knew it wasn't going to be very long at all.

  • I think the fact that you actually get rings for the giant Robotnik-robot-thing kinda kills it ):

  • @n343184 Okay. Then lose all of your rings before you face him.

  • @Sly88Frye Sorry dude I'm not trying to troll xD

Btw you did a good job on that level, well done to you (:

  • @n343184 No. It's fine. But thanks for the apology though. I was kind of joking in my response actually. :)

Thanks! I'm glad you think I did a good job.

  • wow this sonic game looks pretty decent, i'm happy with meh sonic 2 on steam tho :)

  • youtube changed full screen on every video it was fine until they changed it .what the heck youtube? its weird .

  • youtube changed full screen on every video it was fine until they changed it .what the heck youtube?

  • this game sucks because it was so freakin hard

  • @Schwarze999 Sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with you. This game isn't very hard actually. I beat it pretty quickly. And actually, I find hard games to be fun. The challenge is fun. But this game isn't that challenging.

  • @Sly88Frye It's only hard if you're trying to get all the emeralds (and rightfully so, or else what's the point?). If you're only playing to beat it, then yeah, it's pretty easy.

  • @Schwarze999 I beat it in like 2 hours. Sonic 3 and Knuckles was far more difficult.

  • @rbparks Well duh, lol!

  • @Schwarze999 Just because a game is hard, doesn't mean it's bad, and games nowadays are so easy! You get refilling health, infinite lives, and an abundance of checkpoints. Challenge in games is a good thing as it actually tests skill rather than just holding the player's hand

  • @Schwarze999 What? Kid,have you played the classic Sonic games? They are WAY harder than your modern shit. And hard is fun because you feel better after you've completed the game. What's so fun about holding the right button on the D-pad and jumping just to complete the game? I want to have FUN,not watch movies.

  • @Schwarze999 Irate Gamer logic

  • Strange how everyone complains about how Sega "rehashes" everything bringing back old bosses and enemies (when clearly that's what the fans asked for) but no one complains about Nintendo rehashing New Super Mario Bros. Wii trying to be nostalgic (not that it's a bad thing). There really is no pleasing any of you "fans" is there? I don't even know why Sega bothers with any you. All you do is whine and complain about every little detail.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Very good point. I for one have no problem with this game. It's quite fun. Sure they redid old bosses which I wasn't much of a fan of, but they improved those bosses and made them more challenging. I very much enjoy this game.

It's nice to see a positive comment about this game. I get tired of people just saying that they are more pissed off than the Hulk about how much they hate this game when really posting comments like that here is completely useless.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze the thing is there are over 100 mario games where as there are only about 60 to 70 sonic games and not many of them are for nostalgia the reason sega went bk to 2d old school is coz those are the games that sold the best and had the most fans

  • @weirdstuffanimation7 The reason SEGA made this was because of the bitchy old-school fans that would not quit whining about every single Sonic game that wasn't 16-bit, 2D and exactly like the ones from 1991.

  • @xMedicYuurarax sure thing dude what ever you say im still gona go with its because ALL the 3d games were terrible

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze To be fair though this is really just a re-hash of the old Sonic which is depressing as if this is what it has come too with series to be successful it has to repackage more than a decade old games into one with better graphics. Super Mario Bros was in high demand and even though it was basically the same it still had new twists.

  • @FashionistoIRE Still this game was forum driven. Everything in the game is what the fans at the forums asked for and they received it. More people should have gotten involved if they wanted more than what's in the game now.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Sorry to jump in, but this is forum driven? I had no idea. I guess that's not a big deal though right?

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze What forum? No it was basically a last ditch attempt to keep Sonic alive..

  • @FashionistoIRE Hm. To keep him alive? You do know, that all of his sidescrolling games are good right?

Mostly everyone agrees his 3D games are not as fun. But, the fact is that all of Sonic's handheld releases are spectacular. Sonic is very much alive. Sonic Advance series is great! Sonic Rush series is also great! Sonic Colors for the DS(a sidescroller) is also great and it's newer than this game. The games he is struggling in are on consoles. But, his handheld releases are outstanding

  • @Sly88Frye I don't even think he's struggling on the consoles at all either. Unleashed and Colors and a few others are my favorites.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Unleashed I agree was pretty good. The only problem I had with it was replay value. But, I would definitely like to play Eggmanland again. The day time stage there is lots of fun and even though it's 3D, it made me think of Sonic 2 for some reason. I think it was because of the challenge of it

I have yet to play Sonic Colors at all, I'm interested in playing those games though. Surprisingly I liked Sonic and the Secret Rings a lot, but once again, it lacked in replay value

  • @FashionistoIRE The Official SEGA Forums.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Well, actually NSMBW was completely original, new plot, new levels, new enemies, new power-ups, etc. The bosses were a nostalgic mix of SM3 and SMW2:YI. This looks kinda boring, as there are no new bosses, or many new stages.

  • @atomictrain513 The point is the fans asked for all of this (Sonic 4 was forum driven) and now they're complaining over the stuff THEY asked for.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Oh, well then that's complete bullshit. :P

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze No, it clearly isn't what fans asked for. What fans wanted was classic gameplay with new levels and enemies. Sonic 4, a sequel, should have included all of those things. Instead it was closer to a remake than a sequel. Just because Sega brought 2D gameplay does not mean they did it right. The complaints are completely valid, but some people seem to think that Classic fans should just shut up and take what is given. That isn't how consumerism works.

  • @TheCongressman1 Actually yes it was As I'vesaid a million times the game was forum driven so everything in the game was what the people at the forums asked for therefore people need to shut the hell up and stop insulting SEGA and take their complaints to the forums. This game was flawless and more it was just the first part of the FULL game yet the idiot fans are treating as if it was the full part all together. If you all wanted something different you should have gone to the forums.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Good point. One problem is that the Sonic fanbase is so diverse it's hard to satisfy all of them. As I can see in your profile pic, you like Shadow. I don't really dislike him, but I think over the years he was overused. I want the Sonic series to focus more on just Sonic vs Robotnik. And well, good thing in this game it did. And then many fans may think they need to have all the characters when many others don't like I. I can't stand Big the Cat, lol!

  • @Sly88Frye Hey as long as a Sonic game is fun I don't care about anything else. I for one love Big but I think SEGA's holding back his true potential. He could be one of the strongest Sonic characters if he'd just put down the fishing pole for a while. Still I miss all of the other characters and at first it seemed SEGA was closing the door on them but then they announced Mario and Sonic at the 2012 London Olympic games so that doesn't seem likely. I wonder what events will be in this one.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Proof that it was forum driven? Sega never said that. They said they were taking current criticism into consideration. You say it's flawless? That sounds like denial. Sega clearly stated that S4 would follow closely to the originals, other than the graphics. They said the homing attack would not be forced. They also said that the physics would be fixed. Source? Any article while it was in development. None of this was true in the end. Now they are going back on every word.

  • @TheCongressman1 I don't have a link and even if I did I couldn't post it because youtube won't let me but on any Sonic news-oriented site during the development of Sonic 4 they would make posts about SEGA giving updates on Sonic 4 on their official forums. What characters the fans wanted in there (apparently they just wanted Sonic and Eggman), what enemies (classic enemies), and sometimes music updates since the fans wanted classic sounding music.

  • @TheCongressman1 The homing attack was not forced since you don't HAVE to use it for everything unless you choose and these damned physics are fine. That's all I ever hear from this whiny fanbase is how "bad" the physics are. They are fine! They don't obstruct the gameplay in any way. The people who complain about them are just sweating the small stuff and nitpicking. I've played the game the whole way through and had no problems with physics or any of that crap people cry about.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Most paths are unaccessible without the HA, as well as crossing some gaps. The physics are basically an underdeveloped version of the originals, but if you want to defend them for the sake of being 'the good fan' so be it. Let me ask you something. Would it have been terrible if they had used the original physics?

  • @TheCongressman1 Well who gives a crap if they are? Sonic's had the homing attack since Sonic Adventure. Why is it a bad thing if he has it in a game like this? And no it wouldn't have been a bad thing if the used the old physics but my point is the game is fully playable either way and sweating small stuff like physics is just being picky and unpleasable with that fact in mind.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Ok, now we're getting somewhere. So, Sega says that this is a sequel; a return to classics. Then they subcontracted dimps, and instead of using the original physics they used the half baked Rush engine. Do you still not understand why people are upset by this? 'Fully playable' does not mean it is the game it could have been. Sega simply wanted an easy cash in, rather than a masterpiece. The mistake is that they gave it the title of Sonic 4.

  • @TheCongressman1 Not to budge in, although every single word the both of you are saying is shown in my inbox because this is my video, but I've played both Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure and the physics on that game are perfectly fine. They used the same engine in Sonic Colors DS version and that game turned out great as well. Just saying.

I'll leave you two to your conversation now. Good bye!

  • @Sly88Frye Like I just said, that does not mean it is the game it could have been. Sega simply wanted an easy cash in, rather than a masterpiece. I agree with you, Rush was ok, but it is no sequel to the classics. Rush was built for a different style of gameplay. So, seeing as Sonic 4 was a direct sequel to the classics, it seems like they would have put more effort into recreating the classic experience. That would start with using the original physics.

  • @TheCongressman1 There's nothing wrong with the rush engine since the Sonic Rush games were awesome as well. Problem is people are too much of retro-whores and they want everything to be the same and can't ever be pleased with what they have, but that's Sonic's fanbase for you. And again IT'S ONLY THE FIRST EPISODE. That's what people need to realize and stop treating it like it's the full product SEGA wants to eventually make. And if this was an "easy cash in" it's a pretty damn good one!

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Yes, it was a good one... for Sega. They cashed in with minimal effort. What I am saying is If Sonic 4 had lived up to the promises Sega laid down, it would have been much better than it is. Another thing, it is perfectly fine to be discontent with products that you have to buy to enjoy. It would be different if Sega gave the stuff out for free, but if I'm going to buy something I want to be able to enjoy it. Fans do not have to be drones.

  • I enjoyed it more than most stuff in the past 5 years

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze You know it. People can be very ungrateful, can't they?

  • @encfam Especially Sonic's fanbase.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Exactly! Sometimes I wonder why.

  • well, this sonic game is VERY good. i think the graphics and detail are just wonderful. and bringing back some of the bosses is a neat idea but they went abit over board with this. but its very good either way.

  • @retardedmario1 I fully agree with you there.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze It's probably because Nintendo don't do it in a fucking retarded manner.

  • @bl4ck0p Neither does SEGA.

  • @NsiderBurningBlaze Incorrect. I'll leave it at that having noticed your conversation with TheCongressman1. You are Comical Ali/religious nut/brick wall material.
