  • There is no god... there is only Alton Brown.

  • @MrPracticeRoom There is no food... There is only Good Eats

  • Love his meatloaf recipe. I made it with ground turkey and it came out delicious. Will be making it today with beef and extra lean ground turkey mixed together!

  • He butchered that Lao Tzu quote...perhaps for the best.

  • Hamburger 101

  • his alignment looks off

  • Mix chuck and pork shoulder with all the fat on.You will have the best burgers.

  • @poshi12 You can also grind the chuck with bacon.

I like my burgers topped with avocado slices, fresh cracked black pepper, and thousand island dressing. Always on a kaiser or a weck.

  • @honeybadger81

Now that sounds like a plan,Mate!!

  • i like pepper garlic and basil 1 clove and about 2 leavs basil and a few grings of pepper per lb if u want mustard ur fine if u dont then put salt not pepper

  • Dude. I'm always down for a good Soylent Green reference. Especially from AB!

  • well you didn't let the burger sit then did u lol

  • ever since i got 2nd degree burns from a torrent of juice pouring out of a burger after the first bite, I patty smash the shit out of those things.

  • if im grinding my own beef i like thicker burgers. you dont want to under cook preground but there is a lost less time for little baddies to form if your grinding your own.

make it semi bloody please chef

  • @surrealnumber you make an excellent point about there being less time for problems to develop with home ground meats!

  • He says an inch and a half, but the words say 1/2. Probably not a big deal, though.

  • "If it just lays there and looks at you..."

I hate it when water does that, just looks at me. :)

  • I love the Soylent Green reference! Alton Brown is pure awesome. n_n

  • Has anyone noticed that the quality of the second part of these videos is almost always better than the first

  • TEEHEE!!!

  • Lol Wimpy from the old Popeye cartoons that is great.

  • Wimpy was a good addition! xD

  • He is twisting his stache, but it looks like he's doing a J.

    Also, nice soylent green reference.

  • Probably impression of Wimpy from old Popeye cartoons, he use to say that line that he'd gladly pay u tuesday for a hamburger today.

  • at 5:02 that blonde kid is making faces.lol

  • bbq is another show

  • She likes the trim? K.

    I <3 Good Eats!

  • did you not notice what the trim is made of. Ribeye, tenderloin, etc. All the scraps of the really good stuff.

  • Yeah, like the scraps of the cheap stuff never makes its way in there. Im gonna take that hamburger with a good pinch of salt. And pepper of course.

  • SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!

  • haha niceee

  • I caught that reference too.

    "Soylent Green is People!"

  • good eats

  • THANKS FOR UPPING THIS!

  • I hate fast food burgers (I can take the fies) I can only eat homemade burgers

  • Fast food is crap....sodium, saturated fat and sugar and it goes right to your waistline....believe me, I've been there and thankfully been free of its grip for 2 yrs.

  • cooking burgers in a pan? what happened to the BBQ??

  • it died

gas is about the same as a pan so 2 make a diffrence u have 2 use charcoal

charcoal takes like an hour 2 start so its alot easyer 2 use a pan

  • He is showing a method that can be done by everyone. Not everyone has a grill. Also what works for the Cast Iron pan works for the grill. The cooking principles are the same.

  • Heck yeah!! take back the old burger. Screw fast food, good food is so much better...good eats as it were.
