Brother Theodore is absolutely brilliant at turning Dave's attempts to be funny back on him.

Almost three decades later and I'm still laughing my head off watching Brother Theodore's appearances on "Late Night with David Letterman." Too bad Letterman's show hasn't been as hilarious since his move to CBS. Obviously it's because almost all of his guests now are strictly mainstream.

If you are too young to remember the 80's you probably think of Letterman as an annoying goofball but believe it or not there was a time when he was the best thing on television.

@limestoneroad Yes, next to The Young Ones or Kids In The Hall when they were still on HBO. He used to do weird, off beat stuff like drop appliances from tall buildings, and run over various household items with steam rollers, or put stuff under thousand pound presses. There's not even stupid people/stupid pet tricks anymore. Now it's just sit on your ass and do top ten lists.

Remember when they'd have funny guests on talk shows that weren't plugging some lame book or movie? Late nite TV was so great back then. Now they are just infomercials with live bands.
