Mugabe swears in Tsvangirai as prime minister of Zimbabwe

He pretended that he was running away from political harassment but SADC was there to supervise the elections and President Mugabe had been told to leave tsanvarai alone and he obeyed the order. At the same time tsanvarai ran away as part of his political ploy to tarnish President Mugabe and his political party ZANU-PF.

Tsvagrai knew he was about to lose in the second run off. As a political strategy he went hiding in Botswana and South Africa. A certain foreign minister happened had the facts at his finger tips and he is sure this was a political strategy by tsanvarai.

Mugabe never rigged the elections.The first run off was not a success at the general elections. The Zimbabwean constitution says if no one has won the two thirds majority, there should be a second run off. Unfortunately Tsvangirai withdrew. Then according to the constitution if the other party withdraws within 21 days, the party still standing is declared the winner of the elections. The first run off was 47(Tsvangirai) 38(Mugabe).
