It's strange how sensitivity and musical talent combined in one singer is so rare. This song has been on my top 200 for the last 9 years, first through John Starling's recording on Long Time Gone, and then through the definitive version by Jonathan Edwards on Rocking Chair (shimmeringly captured by Brian Ahern). Now, this is a trucking, journeyman version. No sensitivity to the lyrics. Worst of all are Willie's own recent live performances posted here. I have to thank Jonathan for what he done!
Blackie do a good job but the original recorded version is and always will be the best. They just can't seem to capture the emotion that Willie put into the original version. I agree with suswan, the harmonies are great but the electric guitar instead of the harmonica, doesn't really suit my taste. Still a great cover!!!!

I think the last like 900 views are just me watching this song over and over...

Very nice. I like the harmonies. I also like a band that entertains visually as well as auditorially.

Sounds more like White Lines to me.
