  • I've been a Montessori teacher for about 5 years now, and I think one of the issues that Waldorf addresses that has always bothered me a bit is the element of play. In a strict sense Montessori education doesn't make much room (if at all) for unfettered play. Everything in a Montessori class teaches a skill and allows the child to participate and observe relationships, but to me there's always been something missing.
