My point is that it is sort of silly to use historical figures in arguments to justify your positions. When it comes to religious beliefs of figures there is academic dispute as to the truth. It is really a fallacy to list Hitler in arguments that are supposed to show that Athiests are the cause of problems. Mao is eastern, so you have to understand eastern philosophical paradygms that aren't necessarily compatible with "athiesm".

By mosaic law, an indenture servant must be set free by the 7th year & all wages must be paid even if the debt is left unfinished. This isn't permanent bondage & doesn't constitute to new slavery by Portugal & Spain.
