Spray compressed air on the bold area to freeze it. That will not set off the alarm. In a split second, a hammer strike will bust it in half. By the time the alarm goes off, the thief is halfway down the block. But thanks for playing.

I was considering to get a motorcycle alarm lock for Disc brake rotor to compliment my U-lock. But I don't know if it would work on my Shimano XTR rotors--also weight issues. Do you have these in a burly U-Lock design--that cable is pretty heavy, but theives can cut cables very quickly with the right tool. Or do you have any alarms without the lock?

u can put it into water and just cut it. or you can use big hammer so the speaker is destroyed before it will make any noise.

I know someone that bought one.... all you got to do is put some play dough or silly putty over the end and it kills the sound...

How easy is it to pick this lock? Because a good lock picker can pick a lock in 10 seconds or less. Alarm or not.

The lock uses 6x AG13 Button Cell Battery. Those can be replaced when the lock is open/Deactivated. They should last you a LONG time
