By the way the book's he talking about is a biography of Harry Houdini, by William Kalush (who did most of the research) and Lary Sloman (who ghost wrote it) which I had the opportunity to pick up at a Chapters in December of 2007.
Highly recommended unless you're a big fan of Arthur Conan Doyle, in which case brace yourself!
Wow this would be great if I spoke a language that was a mix of Italian and English that constantly overlapped itself.
