Verlander won 24 games, won the pitching triple crown, won the Cy Young AND MVP ( first starting pitcher to do that since Roger Clemens in 1986), threw a no hitter, and when Verlander and Weaver faced, Weaver acted like a baby and got him self ejected while Verlander took a no-hitter into the 8th inning and pitched great. but keep telling yourself that Weaver deserved number 1.

He was tied for 3rd in the National League in Strikeouts with 220. His Walks and Hits per Inning Pitched (WHIP) was in the top 20 in the National league. There is no doubt Lincecum is one of the top ten pitchers in the Major Leagues.
