I respect your opinion, but to me it's just an eccentuated reverse step over. Remember when Ronaldo skinned Ashley Cole in his first season at Old Trafford. I'd say what Garrincha's move was similar, but just more of a body swerve. However, because he leaned so much to the left side, naturally he wouldn't be able to beat the player as his feet were planted to the ground.

its just one of his variations of the step over,like cr7 vs ashley cole..certainly not his only step over but one he was quite famous for.often hed do it twice the defnder wouldnt flinch hed do it a 3rd time but this time he'd take the ball an be gone and the defender wouldnt move.hed do this sort of thing in friendlies,league games or world cup matches.a showman who sent the crowds home happy

Garrincha is more popular in Brazil than Pelé,perhaps because he had such a sad end to his life, while pelé is a millionaire...we are not really fond of winners here, apart from our football teams but that doesnt mean most brazillians Garrincha was a better player..thats still controversial here

There are only 2 options: u are too young or u are from Argentina. 1) If you are too young you don't know about Pelé enough and young people are said that Maradona was the best, because he was reciently playing. 2) If you are from Argentina, you are not objective. By the way, i have seen them playing together. They played together only in the world cup of 1958(when pele was too young, so you can't compare them then) and in 1962 when they were equally good.

And how much he is loved by the brazilians doesn't determine the quality of the player. I as a romanian can love Hagi better than pele, but i can't deny that Pele was 100 times better than Hagi.
