I couldn't watch this for the longest time! I don't know why, but I was more traumatised by the sceene with the wild boars than by the infamous scene where Travis is forced to shoot Old Yeller.
I'm so glad that they decided to not show the wound on old tellers tummy, because in the book it says that some of his guts were poking out of his wounds :'(
