  • Sounds scary to me.

  • ive got an epilepsy surgery 5 years ago. and i have been without any seizures since that, and is 100 % off with the medicine. - from 15 seizures each day and 17 pills to none :)

    Science FTW!!!!!!!

  • @klunk4real Congrats, Just out of interest what epilepsy surgery did you have :)

  • @greenfordgirl99

    Temporal lobectomy.

  • and im only 12 >.>

  • i hade a big seizure when i was little but now i only have little ones o_e i hope i dont get sergery

  • Wow, I had epilepsy as a kid but grew out of it, I didn't know they did things as radical as removing half the brain. Sheesh I think I'd rather get a warning dog and a helmet rather than do something like that. As for that.....ugh doctor at 2:45 I would never take any meds from her LOL.

  • i just had a temporal lobectomy in the left temporal lobe in august of 09' and have been seizure free since.

  • all these other comments are rood. I personally found this vary informational. my only issue is these dam docs keep changing their terms on what a seizure is called. Leave it on what you call it which one is GRAND or PEtTIT MALL SEIZURE. but you have to change the term yet still the same meaning. just do your job instead of word change!

  • freebird......your chick left you because you suck

  • do cephalocetomy.

  • Bullshit, Bullshit, Bullshit!!!!! I had the temporal lobectomy surgery...The biggest mistake of my life....I never ever will trust a surgeon...I lost a 6 figure job, my Fiancee, and am left with numerous psychiatric problems, loss of friends, family, and a life...this is a completley misleading commentary!!! Surgery is never worth considering!!!

  • I'm sorry that happened to you. They don't tell you the long term consequences before this surgery. Although the hemispherectomy was successful for my child in stopping the seizures.....she will have a life time of disabilities. You have to weigh the good from the bad. I know we made the right decision in her case.
