this is interesting; Caroll Spinney did the actual vocals for the recording, but you'll notice that another performer did the puppeteering and little bits of dialogue in between. A bit jarring but most would not notice.

aww this is so cute. I love Big Bird and Anne Hathaway I didn't know she could sing she has a nice warm singing voice. I like Snuffy too he is so cute too. Anne is a great actress as well. I like her in Princess Diaryies 1 and 2, Ella Enchanted, Bride Wars, Hoodwinked, and The Devil Wears Prada. Is Anne Hathaway going to be in any more movies next year? I hope so because she is a great actress and a great singer. I love Anne Hathaway, Big Bird, Snuffy and Sesame Street forever and I always will

Not just you. Most musical numbers are pre-recorded so Carroll recorded the song but Matt did Big Bird (and his speaking lines) on set. (Same thing happens with Miss Piggy on closing number in first episode of The Muppet Show with Juliet Prowse - Richard Hunt sings, Frank Oz speaks)

His name is still Cookie Monster, and he still loves cookies. One season a few years back had a focus on healthy eating, and so they showed Cookie Monster eats other things. too. Cookie Monster still eats lots of cookies, but sometimes they show him eating fruits and vegetables. They never changed his name, that was just a rumor.
