I dont understand where the plant would be getting nutrients from. I might would try this but when transplanting I would trough in a hand full of earthworm castings. That stuff is black gold and will not burn your plants.

steve, question can you break down for me on average the approximate plant stage times from seed to maturity. i planning to open a dispensary here in arizona and need to know this. seedlings is1-3 weeks, veg 1-2 weeks, flowering 8-10 weeks?

Some plants breath in the dark, cannabis does not in the dark. When the lights are OFF is it OK for these plants if the doors are closed and there is no new air circulation? Please reply, thanks

Yes, peat is an organic substance that does in fact contain N, P, & K, however the amounts would be unknown. When using good old fashion dirt, your going to be applying supplemental nutrients via fertilizer anywho. Just keep a close eye on your plants, and as always add your "nute" in small doses.

Also, while very unlikely, peat can contain a whole plethora of unsavory critters, molds etc. Better off using coconut fiber.

Finally, one should take a pH reading prior to adding lime.
