Nice find, this is the Baler Volute snail. It's not poisonous (like the Cone snail), but it is definitely a predatory type snail which feeds on other snails and bivalves. And it's edible as well, although the numbers could dwindle..

hey dude, those snail species are poisonous... dont remember the name of it but it can sting and be deathly

@yudomax i think your thinking of the small snails in the cone shells, that shoot a spear into its victims to cause paralysis
