LAWL 0:28 Is there anything better than Shaun the Sheep and Pink Floyd combined??? xD that surely made my day.<- Just kiddin. I love all the embryonic version things of their songs as far as they've released them: this one, "You've Gotta Be Crazy", "Murderistic Woman" (belongs to Careful with that Axe Eugene) and "Violent Sequence" (Us and Them)... if anyone knows more please let me know!!!
Been listening to this and "You Gotta Be Crazy" on the Immersion version of Wish you Were Here...and boy do I like it. I don't know how many times I've listened to it on my iPhone. lol Over and over.
Great to hear the Jimmy Young intro again, I only have it on the Tour 74 cassette bootleg that came out before the vinyl from which it was removed. Shame it wasn't in the Wish You Were Here Immersion box set, maybe JY wouldn't have approved!
How could anyone not like this? Anyone who complains about this not sounding like the album version has clearly missed the point. Besides, this came performance was WELL before the album version was recorded and released. It is an amazing evolutionary path that this song has taken, from ominous-sounding jam to the volcanic recording on Animals.

Did he mean for the opening to sound similar to Dr Who? It is very interesting. :)
