It is funny how TV theme songs back then were so fucking kick ass. Our 8th grade band would play these theme for a concert and they were 1000 times better than you hear it here. They would do this, night court CHiPs and all those.
You would NOT believe what these songs sound like when play live with an 80 piece band and the full version.
LoL....Don't you guys get it.....it's the PAYCHECK!!!!!! that's why he is able to pull those "lovelies"....plus a lil knowledge of....LMAO....."Chemistry".....
I always hated that this big-nosed, saggy-faced old slob was always dating women young enough to be his daughters! Typical Hollywood conceit.
Anyone remember how the police lieutenant (name?) used to dismiss Quincy's insistence that this week's body was a murder case?
At least they had the sense to have him learn that it was a lost cause, and in later episodes it was "If Quincy saya it was murder, that's good enough for me!" He became Q's biggest fan!
I loved Quincy! The so-obvious ancestor to the CSI shows, plus didn't waste as much time on the romantic mush as other shows of its era. It was smart and cool--until they married him off to Anita Gillette's character and soaped-it up. I always wonered if the show died because of poor ratings or Klugman developing throat cancer?
Esta si que era serial de investigación. por que no la pasan nuevamente,si alguien tiene el dato donde esta en el cable, paselo. El Quincy ganaba sólo los casos en el juicio, soberbio el veterano.
The cadets passing out scene was actually pulled from an episode where Quincy's boss (Astin?) said he had to do this seminar for recruits when he really wanted to get out and investigate another murder or something.. it was his way of making quick work of the session, so he could say he did it and get back to the stuff he wanted to do. Yeah, I never quite got how they could pull off showing Klugman as a chick magnet either, but hey, no accounting for taste.
Why does Quincy need an oxygen mask when he's dealing with a dead body? Perhaps he's a better doctor than we thought!

What I learned from Quincy is that beautiful 18 year old girls love 80 year old men who work with dead bodies all day long.
