Thank you for your beautiful music. I have always thought about beginning to learn harp one day. Although I am probably too old with my 24 years I´d like to realize it. Could you recommend any kind of harp as beginner instrument ? Which kind of harp you learnt playing at the beginning ? Thank you again!
Thankyou for watching. I was 38 when I got my first harp, so you are never too old to satrt!!! The harp here is a 37 string lever. I'd say there are enough strings to play anything. (She's a Wye from Border harps). I also have a 22 string, and there is lots of beautiful music out there for small harps.
Hello, while I love my harp, if I could change one thing, I would prefer levers that were not plastic. They can be a little sharp round the edges. Half the strings are nylon whilst the lower range is wrapped wire. I'm afraid I can't remember what wood she is made from, but it is not one you find growing in the back garden, ie. something unpronouncable, but beautiful to look at.
Fun to watch as well.
