  • Yes, this is real music! I love it!

  • This is what I am talking about, music is good for the soul. I, myself I love music..Music is my escape!!!!! Thanks for uploading this gem...

  • OOOO I LOVE THIS <3 This Is REAL Music! ;)

  • I saw a older dude at my school parking lot and he was rocking this song out his car... So I had to look it up and i'm def a fan of this song.

  • Can Americans spell? I don't think so.

  • I was stationed in Puerto Rico in the 70s at Roosevelt Roads Naval Station and we would end our crazy night with final drinks at the Hawanian Hut in San Juan, and this song was played about a kajillion times....

  • Gran tema y grupo

  • Ya Uncle whoppin' ya ass type music IN THE 70'S

  • I guess 8 people are punk ass kids :P

  • perhaps the coolest song ive heard in the pasy few days

  • 8 people are deaf

  • 8 people didin't chetch the love train

  • 8 people without any Rythem!

How could anyone not love the O'Jays?

  • 8 people without any Rythem!

  • * people without rythem!!!

  • i really love music including this kind

  • I LOVE MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The repetitive piano and bass hooks tip it more towards a dance/disco edge. The track includes congas and a 16th hi-hat beat with four to the floor kick. Also a sign that it is more disco than soul. Not to mention that it's an extended version for mixing in clubs. However, both forms of music are intrinsically linked

  • Isn't 70's soul just Disco?????

  • @jazzymansam no disco is a watered down version of 70's soul. to me the philly sound was the predecessor to disco

  • @jazzymansam Oh no!.....70's Soul is much DEEPER than that......its a whole attitude of difference when compared to Disco, but both are similiar......

  • Now THIS is great music!! One of my favs by them...dare you not to dance to this!

  • I love me some Oldschool..shit always.

  • doin' the hustle back in NYC brings back many fond memories.

  • Remember playing the album so much it skipped on this song. Since it was the last song I never replaced the album. I still think it's going to skip at the 6:30 mark.

  • Today, black music makes me think of gangster things because of the rap music full of obscenities and ofenses towards police and government authorities.

  • PROUD TO BE ONE! ( N )

  • @gsaugen, good music has no color! It's not even in the equation!

  • @tedokoye In the golden years everybody used to call this kind of music black music, and we white folks loved them because of the swing and rythm!

  • @gsaugen Because it is black music!!

  • @tedokoye Obviously it does if black music is as unique and different from latin, country, pop, and on down the line.....I think we as black folks express ourselves in different ways than other cultures, thats why we have the rythym and soul we have!! To deny its blackness, is and would be a genocide and tragedy!

  • You did the fool wit this one...I couldnt find the full song anywhere!!! Thank you!!

  • I'm white and I do love the black music of yesterday because I understand what they sing, what they express (I'm not a native speaker of English). There are some songs sung by Michael Jackson I really don't understand what he says unless I pick up the lyrics on the internet. Like they say, "oldies are golden". GILBERTO SAUGEN - BRASIL

  • Why do I understand every single word they're saying while I can't understand the black rap "poetry" of today's singers? GILBERTO SAUGEN - BRASIL

  • @gsaugen You have to listen to Real Hip Hop Gilberto...that's all. Whats on the radio today is not real hip hop. Anyways..this is a Classic and im loving this. Takes me back to the barbeque's my dad used to have back then and just having a beautiful time with family. I wish i could get those days back. This is what O'Jay's music do for me each and everytime.

  • @iamDamitaJo -- I miss that golden age of black music! Although I'm white I even change my hair into an African style-curly hair just to imitate my Afro- American, Motown Records idols! Fancy that, against all existing racism, I wanted to be black one day. GILBERTO SAUGEN from Brazil

  • quem viveu esta época pode constatar o poder da musica no tempo, a musica suvenirs do grupo voyage tambem dos anos 70, tem uma defifição do que estou falando. Abraços a quem tem esta sensibilidade.

  • this song emeinds me of something youde find in walmart to play samles of music haha!

  • So, I am sure there are still talented musicians in Philly and Detroit, so why isn't this kind of music being made today instead of gangsta rap !!!!!! The 70's and 80's had some great music........

  • In high school this song was in my head...it past the time faster....I miss these times.

  • Music makes you happy at times or sad at other times but it makes you feel something music is life and life is about emotions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The glorious 70's... 3 Day weeks, Power cuts, Strikes, Borstal........and yes tunes like this to shuffle away your cares, I was brought up in a Soulfull house and these great tunes are the Backdrop of my Childhood and give us joy in our lives

  • One of the best traks ever... I love love love it....Will be my trak at my funeral I think,,,:)

  • I did not know that there was a long version of this great classic. Thank you for the upload.

  • The thing you can say about Disco is that it got people out dancing. Every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday the clubs, bars, etc. were packed. People had a great time and got exercise (even if they didn't realize that what it was).

Dances actually had steps & even bad dancers could do them. You saw all ages and sizes out on the floor. It was fun.

  • If you hate this, you hate yourself.

  • Am I the only one who finds this incredibly racist?

  • @natehs123 Racist ? Where?

  • Blimey......where'd the years go?? Takes me way back to Woolwich Town Hall Discos in the 70s. What a laugh.

There was some great music then. Take it from me, it was great being a teenager in the 70s . Shame it takes turning 50 to remind me of that lol!!
