  • Just so you guys know. the song is addressing the situation of prostitution. Just like how aki p wrote Keibetsu for AKB, the song address why teens commit suicide and Mokugekisha is addressing why people don't stop crimes and just watch it happen. I don't see why AKB cant sing these types of songs. we all know situations actually happen to kids at this age, Especially since akb was at their age at the time, the message can relate more

  • D:

  • I'm an AKB fan and i can totally understand that songs as Heavy Rotation can be disturbing. But when it comes to this song, i quite don't get it. Do people REALLY think it promotes youth prostitution ? This is the exact contrary ! The video is sad and gives a lonely feeling ! The lyrics are harsh because they describe a harsh world. It's not about promoting prostitution, it's about describing a fake and disturbing world some girls evolve in. This is definitely what i think it is all about.

  • Daddy issues

  • AKB48 is so fucked up. Even if this song is meant to be sad, what about songs like heavy rotation? These videos basically cater to all the pervy old Japanese men, of which there are many. But unfortunately, they are popular and catchy enough that young girls listen and are influenced by them. That is why Japanese girls wear their uniforms even outside of school and on weekends.

  • @myvluv333 There are songs every where about sad things... Songs about rape victims and murder, its ment to get a message across. THe world doesn't evolve around your oppinion, sorry.

  • @eyeLiner001 Evolve?

lol pants, typing error in troll favour.

  • @myvluv333

    LMAO~ what?

    are you serious?

say that to the 50% fangirl fanbase they had in 2010 after they released Heavy Rotation. the ones that find hebirote offensive are people outside of japan. my friend live in tokyo, she said it's normal for girls to kiss and take bath together. Also they love the video because it's cute.

also japanese girls wearing their uniforms on weekends have nothing to do with akb since it been going for decades before them. lulz~

  • Although this song is disturbing, this type of scene is not unheard of in Tokyo/Japan. It's not like a great scene so..it's a hush-hush problem in Japan. There are japanese school girls who date salarymen for money. The approach in this song is more romantic but...yea, this is real alright.

  • this video is actually meant to be sad. wish the people on cnn took that into consideration when interviewing akb48's manager.

  • yo....wtf

  • That sarariman trying to pick up the school girl was creeeeeepppyy...

  • jpop. The only pop that doesn't make me puke (:

Japan just makes everything better. ^^

  • this song is sad

  • weirdest akb48 song

  • not a super clear lyric like Sailor fuku wo nugasanaide of Onyanko Club

  • they are awesome....they made a sex scene into a song...i love them

  • @ALL - while discussing, don't forget to watch the video :)

  • @DogooChan @kumikochan48 Both of you are right to some degree...However, female idol groups aren't mainly targeted at men, but teen girls between age 12-18, the male audience mostly are idol otaku who are used to boost sales [ since they often buy the same product multiple times ]...STILL AKB48 is mostly followed by young females which is why many products aimed at teen girls are advertised by the teenaged AKB members...Aging male fans are simply "tolerated" not asked for...

  • @byanarokko AKB right now is a special case. They've grown to be so huge that they do have a much larger than average percentage of female fans, but that's not normal for Idols at all. The Wota are what keeps most idols alive.

What makes you think that Idols in general are targeted toward teen girls?

In general, do girls buy the AKB dating sim games? Do they enjoy the bikini PVs? Gravure photobooks? The bonus love confession videos they've included with singles? Completely targeted at wota.

  • @DogooChan You completely ignore the younger generation male audience...Of course AKB is targeted at men, but not towards aging wota in general...

As I stated, wota are tolerated since they boost sales.

However, only idols popular among the general public are able to become worthy advertisers for companies, if AKB were mostly aimed at wota they wouldn't be able to appeal to the general public - which they obviously do...

  • @byanarokko I never said anything at all about "aging" men. All I ever said was they're targeted at ADULT men. At least to me young university or workforce age guys are adults?

There are alot of teenaged male fans too, but a younger teenage fan obviously won't have as much to spend as a young working guy will. And since it's all about money, of course they'd target them more.

By the way, being considered a wota really has little to do with age, It's all about their...obsessive behavior.

  • @DogooChan Actually, in a recent interview Aki-p stated that he does no specifically target either gender because, basically, it wouldn't be smart for sales. He wants everyone to like AKB48.

  • @byanarokko I'm not saying any of this in a negative way either. I love AKB. And as a 22 year old guy myself, I obviously quite enjoy the fact they market so much to men.

I just don't understand why people try and deny that the largest part of their fanbase has always been men.

  • @DogooChan My point is that the female fan base is just as large. AKB advertise many products specifically aimed at girls/women which report boosted sales all the time. It's a clear sign how popular they are among females. They also appear on many variety shows which shows that the general public also welcomes them. So saying their fan base mostly consists of men is somewhat exaggerated. I know they are popular among men, but not mostly among men...

  • Ay ay, mis ojos, ¿que estoy viendo y oyendo? no esperaba esto de los japoneses

  • Despite the lyric I love this song.... but then when I first hear and watch the vid, the feeling that I got from it is the same as reading the shoujo.. well not all must some (40%/50%) shoujo leading to this kind of thing, isn't it??? ha..ha.. no offense...this is only my opinion...

  • I want to go to Japan, oh GOD please give me money -_-

  • a song about "enjo kousai", LOL

  • things like this make AKB so interesting

  • the meaning.. -__-

  • I love how naughty this is LOL

  • Although I don't like the majority of AKB48 songs the few I do, like this, are really awesome.

And as for SNSD, as individuals they are nice, but their music leaves a lot to be desired.

  • perverts will love this song

  • MARIKO-SAMA <3

  • this song sound so nice like a song used for anime .... but the the lyrics makes it sound so wrong....

  • I like the music, but i don't like it's lyrics. It doesn't fit their image. It feels so wrong

  • This song is weird and very different from other AKB48 songs but I LOVE it!

  • Worst AKB song EVER. Not cute at all. I usually love you guys, but here you sound like complete tramps and ewww your old man producer writes these songs for you. Have some self respect please. Little kids listen to your music.

  • @kumikochan48 Little kids? Not really, lol.

Well I guess now that they're mega popular and all their songs seem to be about hair accessories, a minority of their fans might be "younger" teenagers, but the majority of their fans are adult men.

    This song is great.

  • @DogooChan At the concert I went to the were quite a lot of children actually.

  • @kumikochan48 When and where was the concert? Like I said, they're very "mainstream" now. So if it was in the last 2-ish years, it doesn't surprise me that a minority of their fans might be younger.

But their main market is still the adult men who go crazy buying all the merchandise.

  • @DogooChan November 20, 2011 Singapore. I think they are targeted at teenage girls, but I don't disagree that a lot of their money comes from old perverts.

  • @kumikochan48 OKAY. That explains it then. You were at a concert with a "foreign" audience. What you see at an international concert doesn't necessarily reflect their domestic fanbase at all.

No, they definitely aren't targeted at teenage girls at all, LOL.

They're Idols, their main market is unquestionably men.

But since they're so popular right now, they do have some female fans. But that's relatively recent. And I doubt too many of them bought their PSP dating sim games, for example. lol.

  • @DogooChan You don't need to convince me that they get a lot of their money from perverts. This is my opinion. They should release a rock or hip-hop styled song if they want to change from an innocent 'kawaii' image.

  • @kumikochan48 Even though female Idol fans have traditionally been mainly men, that doesn't necessarily make them perverts. Are Kis-My-Ft2 fans perverts because they're mainly women?

Who says they want to change from a kawaii image completely? You realize this song was their 4th single, released 5 years ago, right? They've had plenty of cute songs since then.

They do seem to have a yearly "cool" song that shows a different side from their normal image though. River, Beginner, KazeFui so far.

  • @DogooChan Did I say completely? :)

  • @kumikochan48 shows that akb aren't always kawaii lol, which is a good thing. If they acted completely innocent and cutesy, they'd just be annoying like H!P.

  • @Cookai16 That's true, but I personally would have preferred a different approach such as a more rock or hip-hop styled song. There's nothing wrong with being innocent :)

  • A song about statutory rape YAYYYYY

  • @sayatakboleh its not rape if the girl is asking for it

  • @WillyVWilson Duh. That's why it's called statutory rape, not "rape" rape..

  • YEAH!!! THE POLEMIC AKB48'S SONG... NICE if somebody don't knows what i'm talking about... this song is about the easy girls.

  • is it me or before Team B was formed, the songs were liek, sorta messed up? LOL

  • @ChikaChiii You must be new here if you think the songs now are much better...

  • @Iantheparty well not like, the lyrics xD. i like the old songs better actually, but beginner is still my fave song ;A;... -shot- but i stil i love keibetsu shiteita aijou ;A;''' it got me into akb afterall orz.

  • I'm heard weird sound at 2:49..

    Ghost @ something?

  • @wmf55 YOU HEAR IT TOO ;____;!! I THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY WHEN I HEARD IT O_O_O';' it was jsut liek..there o-o;;;

  • a song about getting laid coool

  • omfg wow so teenage girls and old men watched this video. that's very nice.

  • @xYunhoLoverx 15y/o male here, why all the stereotyping?

  • @MugenKiryokuKonata it was in the video statistics. loool

  • It's interesting to see the different interpretations of this song.. I still think it's not about prositution or doing bad things. Can't it just be a girl who has a crush on her teacher or something? She's just dreaming about doing things like that with an adult she knows.. I don't think it's anything more than that. Like they say: "That's the life of a high school girl." Nothing will ever happen and that's what they're sad about..

  • This song is so awesome :)

  • Entertaining as I find this, I also find it soulless and horrifying in its own way :#

  • @NightRapier Is it horrifying that I'm legitimately writing a feminist interpretation of this video?

  • Is it weird that I like this song? lyrics and everything? lol

  • @Kthnxpwned lol hell no. this has been one of my favorite songs for almost a year now

  • @Kthnxpwned i hope it's not weird, other wise i am also for liking their music too!

did you know their group now has 92 members! what happened to having 48 members over 5 months ago? O_o

  • @TheSoulTakerLordV Well, the 92 number that you've seen alot since the WSJ article is a bit misleading. They only have 59 actual members, the rest are Kenkyuusei.

And the majority of the newer official members were actually promoted Dec. 2010, they just didn't add them to any team until Team 4 was formed last June.

Basically only the 16 13th Generation Kenkyuusei are new to the group. They were officially introduced at their 6th anniversary show on 12/08/11

  • You know, for people who think this is way too much at least through this song they're speaking the truth about certain girls in current society, not always songs about fairytales and generic love.

  • @Cookai16 and all this song will do is create more of those kinds of girls..

  • @sirus804 not really, this song is probably not even broadcasted as much as their new songs y'know.

  • @Cookai16 "probably" ... You don't even know lol. When I was talking to my Japanese friend about AKB48, this was the first song she showed me. You're argument is invalid.

  • @sirus804 *Your. So? A lot of Japanese people still don't understand AKB LOL.

  • Nice girls, nice song but the message is not appropriate. Of course it is about prostitution. It is plain and simple Money exchange from adults to teens for sex is illegal in Japan. You can see this though the lyrics and the body language. At the very end, the girl is standing to be propositioned and sure enough she is. I think some people want this video to be more innocent than it actually is :)

  • Female 13-17

    Male 45-54

    Male 35-44

    LOL

  • @Lius525 Doesn't that say a lot? Old ass men are getting off to this video.. and Young teen girls are watching this.. which means some will imitate it.. Hmmmmm

  • @sirus804 wouldn't "Old ass men" be watching porn instead? i mean that's what it's there for.

  • @sirus804 omg just get out of this AKB business, if you're gonna keep saying stuff that's gonna be very easily argued against by people who know more than you.

  • @Cookai16 lol u mad

No, old ass men are apparently looking at this video... thats what the statistics are showing. Lol..

  • @sirus804 what if they actually like the music :) it's possible

  • @Cookai16 Hey. Hey. Remember that time when that AKB48 member went into the porn industry?.. ah man.. these girls are so pure.. OH OH.. and do you remember when that AKB48 member who went into porn's little sister also went into the porn industry? So fucking pure.. I can't handle it.

  • @sirus804 You're just generalising then. One member doesn't equal AKB, they're not all the same. So you just lost that argument.

  • @Cookai16 I'm not generalizing.. Merely stating a fact about that AKB48 whore who went into porn and then had her little sister go into porn too... I'm willing to bet it won't be the last either.

  • @sirus804 well it didn't really help when you said "these girls are so pure." in a sarcastic way.

  • @Cookai16 Yeah.. I was mocking all the crazy otaku who think the girls are pure.. Did you know several Japanese idols are often "bought" for a night by rich business... A sort of "date club" .. Several former idols have spoken up about it.. Its expected of them... If AKB members do it is unknown.. One thing for sure is they aren't all virgins lol.

  • @sirus804 but no one knows that for sure about AKB, you're only assuming so to be negative, so not entirely valid.

  • @sirus804 they're not like all innocent and pure, no i don't believe that which is why i'm not into hello!project anymore because they're nothing more but puppies and rainbows to me. One AKB member was apparently into prostitution and drinking alcohol underaged (Oba Mina) before joining the group and got suspended. At least I can be honest about AKB.

  • Thanks for being honest about them.

  • @sirus804 and just to add, most videos i've favourited are AKB-related, not really favourited because they're Japanese. The channel is mostly compiled with AKB so I'd like to call myself a big AKB fan (not really the biggest because there are others who are even more who are committed to them), otaku isn't the right word because i'm not overly obsessed, like I wouldn't talk about them all the time. I upload stage performances because a lot of people never had a chance to watch it or get the dvd

  • and look how most of my favourites are music-related??? I admit I'm obsessed with music.

  • @sirus804 get your evidence from more reliable sources then YT channels please :) what if someone hacked into my account? NOT RELIABLE :O

  • @Cookai16 But they didn't. :]

  • @sirus804 how do you know for sure? i hate when people say something like as if it's a fact when it's not, what's so unbelievable about guys liking this song? it's kinda catchy

  • @Cookai16 How do I know for sure? Lol.. Its called THE NEWS..

  • @sirus804 the news isn't totally reliable lol

  • @Cookai16 Pictures and videos are. God, you're so deluded.

  • @sirus804 it depends what sources the pictures/videos are from, so they're not 100% reliable either LOL.

  • @Cookai16 It doesn't matter where the source is from.. Maybe for pictures.. But when there is a video or recording of AKB members complaining about all the creepy men they have to deal with.. IT DOESNT MATTER WHERE THE VIDEO CAME FROM.

  • Waw their parents must be so proud ... to be a national slut on tv... all the neighbors speaking behind their backs... Hey Isn't that doctor's Maeda 16 years old daughter there kissing another girl in lingerie?

  • I meant it's NOT suppose to be taken as a perverted song for older men

  • To people who don't understand the video:

It's about prostitution. It's supposed to be taken as a perverted song for older men. It's supposed to send a message about how wrong prostitution is, especially for people so young.

  • @kaiseix then why do they want people to take off their uniform?

  • Comment removed

  • This video sems perverted... especially the lyrics. And I heard some former AKB48 members went in to gravia after - what do these women think doing this? What do their parents think? What is their company thinking? Is sex an accepted thing in Japan? In North America it seems sex is viewed according to Christianity (not until marriage).

  • @3N4CH05 Further indications that the U.S. is backward. Frankly, no1 cares what you do in America.

    As for whether it's "acceptable":

A 1998 survey by the Asian Women's Fund, researchers found that more than 20 percent of all high school girls engage in enjo-kōsai and over 90 percent of the girls interviewed attested to feeling uncomfortable with the exchange or purchase of sexual services for money.[4] Statistics show that the majority of girls are not delving into the realm of sexual exchange.

  • A 1997 poll in the Japanese TV Asahi program Asa Made Nama Terebi showed that 70 percent of respondents opposed enjo-kōsai involving sexual interactions, while 30 percent approved of it.

Make of it what you will.

  • @Person012345 I don't live in America... and you are insulting the largest religion in the world by calling them backwards just because Christians believe that sex should be a sacred thing for reproduction and union with your partner.

Did you just get that statistic off of Wikipedia? Find a reliable source please. But why is AKB48 delving in to this area it seems in the song and the gravia afterwards?

  • Saying "hurr hurr not reliable source" doesn't actually prove anything. I have provided statistics from a source that cites it's own sources. If you want to dispute them, it is up to you to find a different source that disputes it, then show why that is a more reliable source than the asian women's fund.

This was one of AKB's earlier songs, the fourth song that they made. It didn't sell that well and they haven't done anything about it since I don't believe. Also, I highly doubt they write the

  • songs themselves. They sing what they get told to sing, and who knows the motivations behind the writers and producers actions. I suspect it's probably a statement. When songs say "XYZ" they don't always mean "XYZ". They sometimes are drawing attention to XYZ to highlight that XYZ exists, possibly for the purposes of tackling it if it's a problem.

I don't know what a "Gravia" is. If it's something to do with sex, then it's likely not sanctioned - girls have been fired for just having

  • boyfriends before. Sexual proclivity, and certain other behaviours aren't really acceptable in the Idol industry - they have an image to uphold. It's fine if they don't get caught. Obviously.

  • @Person012345 you know so much apparently about Japanese culture but you don't know what gravia is? Gravia is like provocative pictures - like porn except the girls still are covered a bit.

I don't understand why you are getting so offended - I just asked a question because I wasn't sure if sex was like an everyday thing in Japan.

But why does AKB48 seem lke they are promoting the prostitution ALL throughout the song? Like they say "I want to experience adult pleasure".

  • @3N4CH05 They're not 'promoting' prostitution, the song is trying to be in a different perspective of teenaged life - it's not actually about them. They are representing, not promoting.

  • @Cookai16 so, is it basically about teenagers who are comfortable with being sexy and going to adulthood? :$ Still confused about the message now...

  • @3N4CH05 basically teenagers who want to mature/grow up.

  • @Person012345 AKB48 does not have any sentence in the song against prostitution in the song. Plus I know that ex-AKB48 members are now gravia models.

  • @3N4CH05 A song doesn't have to have lyrics "against" something to be designed to draw attention to it as a problem. I'm pretty sure the message of Keibetsu is not that people should kill themselves. There are many songs that do that without explicitly condeming the subject matter in the lyrics.

Still waiting on a source for the gravia thing. Firstly I don't claim to "know so much" about japanese culture. I know a bit, as an outsider who observes it casually. I don't claim to be some sort of

  • expert. Although either way, your explanation of Gravia sounds perfectly fine. That sounds like the normal Photobooks they release. You do realize that one of the target audiences of all idol group are men right? This isn't unique to AKB, and it's certainly not anything shameful. If you believe that having pictures of them in bikinis or w/e released is somehow wrong then I would say you are far too oversensitive. If it's more than that, then again, source.

I am not offended. What you did was

  • say that the song was "perverted" and I provided you with a possible alternative interpretation, whilst answering your question about whether sex (specifically in relation to Enjo Kosai, which does not necessarily involve sex, it's more like escorting but less well organised) was an "accepted thing" there. Then you compared it to America and christianity, which happens to be backward.

  • @Person012345 at the moment I don't have time to source my references but I will possibly tomorrow so keep posted for that.

Gravia is not like regular photos, they are PROVOCATIVE photos (and only have the people covered up to avoid calling it porn out right).

I compared it to NORTH America, not just America. And Christianity is not necessarily backwards, it just depends how one interprets it.

  • @3N4CH05 North America = The U.S, British America and Mexico. Since the U.S. is the only one that matters, I used the term "america" to refer to them. If you're also talking about British America, that's exactly the same as the U.S, and if you're talking also about mexico, that only further reinforces my point that it's backwards.

Go ahead and source this stuff whenever you get time, firstly so that I actually understand what you're talking about (provocative is highly subjective) and that

  • @Person012345 North America is only consisting of Canada and the USA. Mexico is part of South America. If you disagree, I guess we have come from different schooling systems.

Frankly, I am weary of this conversation so I will just let you have the win. Although I think the initial fight started merely because your first reply to me seemed to be a bit aggressive.

  • @3N4CH05 Putting in minimal effort I was able to find sources for you. The reason I couldn't initially is that the word is "gravure" not "gravia". Anyway, looking at the definition it appears to be as I said - nothing particularly bad. Especially since it seems to encompass a wide variety of possible costumes etc. and is "generally accentuated by an air of playfulness and innocence rather than aggressive sexuality". Although it's supposed to be provocative, see what I said before. As for Mexico,

  • it's in North America. If we're talking continent-wise, so are Guatemala etc. but they're normally referred to as central america. Mexico could be classed as Central American, but from what I see it usually isn't.

  • some AKB (ex-?)members do it. And then you can reiterate your point, because I don't think you have one any more.

  • Is it really about middle aged men? sound like a girl talking to her boyfriend. (ignore the video, I'm talking about the lyrics)

  • oh my god ive been looking for this group for years after hearing it before. they have such an odd name though. thank god for right suggestion vid blocks! XD

  • My opinion of this song's main message is not about sex or whatever... Look at your own comments... READ! Aren't those commenting bout sex, underage teen, blah blah blah are actually educating themselves through this song... Commenting while unknowingly educating ourselves that this "message" "lyrics" are wrong... And I'm sure talking about sex doesn't mean no education or you're stupid... that;s so stereotype thinking they are pervs... But honestly you learn more through sex, moral education...

  • people talking about the "pure idol" thing, i don't really think that matters in akb48's case, since they also star in a violent and gory tv show about gangs and such.

  • @misterlaufeyson Majisuka Gakuen is so awesome.

But the pure thing still applies. They're not allowed boyfriends, for example.

  • 'Course, they can have boyfriends so long as they're not caught having boyfriends. It is all an image after all.

  • Wow..! Some of you really need to cool your head off -.-' LOL Not all Japanese girl are like that. Some even protect they virginity until they married ^////^ But of course something like sexuality thingy always happen in Japan but i don't believe only Japan have those kind of problem cuz i live there :) And the lyrics too.Like what most of you have say 'Japanese girl, don't try to grow up so fast' and so on cuz that's what AKB trying to say in this song :) Even the translation can goes wrong.

  • @GoYoonA well I'm 13 and I'm an otaku and I'm not full of myself I swear and I'm a boyish girl like Sae Miyazawa

  • there are no bad words just bad thoughts

  • I was a hentai otaku but ever since I knew AKB48 i've been pure happy otaku with no hentai thoughts at all

  • guys calm down this is just a warning for girls in a very young age

  • @GoYoonA - I never said teens should listen to this. AKB has a huge number of songs and only 1 or 2 songs have lyrics like this, all the rest have happy lyrics, songs about dreams/love/friendship, about serious things etc. if you check the other songs you'll see that they make songs about many things, for all kind of people. and you know what, teens can find worse things while listening to US music or watching animes, so nothing is wrong with these 1 or 2 songs of AKB. It's an old song anyway.

  • @GoYoonA - You're the one who's stupid. You already know that I'm right, and because you have nothing to say, you just insult me and stop the discussion? Yeah right, you're a moron.

Oh and it's funny how you take a SONG as if it was reality LOL. They're just talking about some kind of problems that happens in Japan/Asia, and it's just a SONG so chill. It didn't happen in reality (for AKB), and if a producer asked your fav idols to sing a song like this, trust me, they would do it for sure.

  • sone is plain stupid..coming to akb's video just trying to prove thing that their idol is better *sigh*

btw..about the vid n song...i love it that akb's are showing real life in their pv n songs

  • @zihhazihha well, after i listened to this song, i do think that SNSD IS better. although snsd members are not angels, but it seems like they are definitely more innocent. SNSD members, i mean.

  • @GoYoonA - Singing about sex or selling sex with your image (outfits, dance, concerts etc.) = the same, stop pretending that your fav idols aren't selling sex. You're just embarassing yourself now... Try to find something else to bash AKB, and not something that your idols do, because it makes you look ridiculous :)

  • Last time I saw this video's comment, I thought it couldn't get any more stupid but then I look again only to be proved wrong.

  • If you must know Japan is also a liberated country... this kind of thing is normal to them, don't be a 'conservative-like' person. just get used to it.

  • @GoYoonA - OMG! You really believe they don't? Just watch one MV from your fav group... or one concert... and see if it's not full of sexy moments. You're blind and delusional... and seeing who your fav groups are, I'm not surprise you dislike AKB, but try to find other excuses.

    End of discussion.

  • @GoYoonA - Wow you're really ignorant. Your favorite idols are also talking about sex, everyone talks about sex, there's nothing wrong... If you really think your favorite idols are perfect humans who only talk about the weather, then you're delusional... and I see nothing wrong with AKB's PVs or songs :)

  • Garbage music to brainwash teens so they think it's ok to let rich old men bankers fuck you. No wonder japan is so fucked up.

  • I love how everyone is blaming the "perverted otaku" for the sole reason this song is popular... Its not just the otaku.. its MOST businessmen too.. hell.. All Japanese males.. They're all perverted in their own way.. Otaku wouldn't make AKB48 the most popular group in Japan.. Its that pretty much all Japanese guys are into high school girls.. and this song is very provocative.... Money making song...

  • @sirus804 This song came out when AKB wasn't very popular. They mostly sing 'happy' songs, and they're the most popular now as they mostly sing about that. This song is about a serious problem in Japan, and they even have another old one about bullying. Just shows that their music has a message, which most of you can't seem to get. :/

  • @TheMirianR I know all about AKB48 and their 'happy' songs... I've lived in Japan. And it doesn't matter if there is a message or not.. The song isn't popular because of the message.. The song is popular because cute high school girls are singing "Take off my uniform."

  • @sirus804 this single didn't really sell as much as their other singles like RIVER and Beginner. What do you think about that? Don't talk like you know AKB when really, you don't.

  • @Cookai16 I think that they're still a group of 48 HIGH SCHOOL girls singing and dancing around in perverted outfits for perverted Japanese men's pleasure. Oh btw, you're an AKB48 otaku.. LOL

  • @sirus804 err i'm not into anime though, just music..oh and btw you STILL don't know anything about AKB..LOL. Who would people listen to, someone who actually knows AKB or someone who assumes crap about them? silly person.

  • @Cookai16 You don't have to be into anime to be an otaku.. God, you're all obsessed with Japan and Japanese culture yet you truely don't know anything about it. I've lived in Japan.. Try to grasp that..

Lol Assumes crap? You don't have to do any assuming.. You just have to look.. SO LOOK.

Oh and btw.. I'm older than you.. You are merely a teen-aged child.. I'm an adult.

  • @sirus804 no I just like the music and AKB, not really Japan in particular LOL, look how you think I'm obsessed when you don't actually know me. Yeah then try and act like your age lol. A lot of the time, 'looking' isn't really enough.

  • @Cookai16 You understand how stupid you sound right? You say you aren't into Japanese culture or anime. #1 You name is "cookai", You background on your page is fucking Pocky. All for favorited videos are Japanese. You are "Mega-fan of Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki!" ...Who are you trying to fool? You just sound like an idiot.

Also, you claim you aren't an AKB48 Otaku... yet ALL your uploads are fucking AKB48.. Definite AKB48オタク.

  • @sirus804 Just to let you know, a youtube channel doesn't fully represent a person. Yeah the channel is just for AKB uploads and yes I am an AKB FAN (not otaku), is there anything wrong with that? Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki is admirable so what's wrong with liking it? What is there to look upon so badly at? Can I not call myself an AKB fan? Because I don't act like an otaku. There are other things I really like that is not shown on my channel, why are you judging from looking at a channel?

  • @Cookai16 A person doesn't paint their car blue when they actually wanted it green.

You still don't even understand what an otaku is.. and you're obviously one.. and you're obviously into Japanese culture.. Its okay though.. You don't have to deny it.. Its okay.. You're young.. Whats creepy is when Old men are AKB48 otaku.. which there are many of..

  • @sirus804 AKB aren't the only ones, it's just female j-idol groups in general.

  • @Cookai16 Yes.. I know.. You forget the part where I lived in Japan and talked with Japanese people.. I know ALL about that sort of thing.

  • @sirus804 lol but it doesn't matter if you live in Japan or not. You can live in any other country and still know a lot about AKB.

  • @Cookai16 It does matter.. AKB is most popular in Japan. and they're a Japanese group... So, Japanese people will know more about it than English people... So, I had a larger and broader source of getting info on AKB.. so yes.. Me living in Japan does matter.

  • @sirus804 it seems like you think you're so superior just because you've lived in Japan, sadly you're still really ignorant.

  • @Cookai16 I'm not ignorant lol...I'm merely stating that when You live in a country which a group is from.. You hear about all the bullshit and opinions people have.

  • @sirus804 opinions by people who may not understand what AKB is about, which is the problem.

  • if you know so much about it, then how does AKB work in terms of getting screen time in a-side pvs?

  • @Cookai16 By sucking their managers cock... Seriously? I don't care about that shit.. I'm not an AKB otaku.. I don't even like the group.. But I still heard tons of shit about them from Japanese people and Japanese news and the fucking internet. BUT because you know that bullshit, you are only proving that you're an AKB48 otaku... Lmao..

  • @sirus804 why are you here? LOL.

  • @sirus804 Okay let's quickly end this. Going back to your original comment, this single did not make as much money as good singles like RIVER and Beginner (which aren't provocative at all), so it's not just perverted men going for the girls but it is the music. Finished. kthxbye, if you weren't acting so rude and like a smart-ass, this argument wouldn't have been carried on like this.

  • @Cookai16 But, the group's entire image appeals to perverts.. 48 little high school girls dancing, singing, and jumping around.. And it does do that.. They have tons of creepy old otaku fans... Yes, they have other fans too.. but they also have the creepy ones too.. Also, understand that fucking schoolgirls are a huge fantasy for Japanese men.. Just look at Japanese porn.. and what is AKB48? 48 highschool girls in school uniforms... Hmmmm

  • @sirus804 well i guess that is only what you see in their music videos or concerts but when you seem them on variety tv shows (e.g. AKBINGO!) their real personalities come out. Their personalities believe it or not is probably what all fans like about them, without good personalities AKB wouldn't be as popular.

  • and I don't really care if you've lived in Japan, this isn't about Japan, this is about AKB looool.

  • you're obviously slowly trying to divert from the original subject of this convo..

  • @sirus804 and either way, you're wrong ^___^ so accept that.
