Absolutely agree with all those who say old Quattro is best AWD! I have S4 (C4 V8), the car is over 16 years old has over 300 000 km and I can tell the car is still better than major part of current cars. Vorsprung durch Technik is exactly what about it is. I'm just looking for S6 plus Avant (blue).

Yes Lancia is more well known in the rallying world But...... Lancia DO rot and Audi dont I own a 2004 model Ausi S4 while my Grandad drove a Lancia Beta Coupe and a old 90 Audi Quattro Coupe and the Lancia is beaten and always stall but the Audi is still in good condition after so many years of vigourios driving by my cousin n I during winters and i gotta say.....Audi won more rally championships than Lancia before they created the Delta Turbo

I have a 2004 Audi allroad 4.2 V8 and a 1995 Audi S6. I live in snowy Michigan and believe that Quattros have the best overall AWD sophistication, luxury, speed and non rusting bodies on the market.

Others may have different opinions, which makes the world go round.

I owned six Subarus and then six Quattros, which are kissing cousins, design wise. Audis are just higher quality, more luxurious Subies, in my book.

Youtube can cover this overhead cost by either a) tapping their revenue and lowering their bottom line, or passing the cost onto users with b) more advertisements and/or c) slower stream rates. I think it's a great clip, but I am against the use of top gear in the title.

Oh yes, my old Audi s4 2.2 t quattro goes very good on snow, i can climb holls with the differencial lock and he drives straight his way without wheelspin or somthing.

But i know the new quattros since ca 2000 are no real quattros they use tu many electronic helpers and in snow you only drive saver but not faster than the good old quattros =)

S3 has the fake quattro that has nothing to do with drivetrains used in cars shown in the vid. It's just a FWD car with some crappy haldex clutch, not a permanent all wheel drive with torque sensing center diff.

Ditch it and take anything >= A4 quattro since these are the Audis that share heritage presented in the movie.
