@Xskillna In the Avatar Comic book there's actually a showdown between Bumi and Toph that shows that they are evenly matched. The outcome is left unknown because their "agni kai" or battle is interrupted or intervened by the other members of the white lotus society (old people camp) because of all the noise they (toph&bumi) are making from battling and they don't want to be spotted by the fire nation etc... So as to who is better the creators left that un-answered

@xBloodXGusherx Well, not really everyone. This show has a world of badass - Aang, Zuko, Katara, Ozai, Iroh, Pakku, Jeong, Bumi, Piandao, Katara, Azula. Each of these should be at least a challenge to Toph and given the proper environment even easily outmatch her. Heck, Bumi could take her on anytime. That being said, make no mistake, the only character in this show I like more than Toph is Iroh ;)
