Oh, and looking forward to the videos on chemical peels. I've tried glycolic and lactic acid. I now occasionally do aspirin peels, but I mainly use apple cider vinegar, and benzoyl peroxide to spot treat, but, fortunately, that's rarely necessary, since I've been using the vinegar.
I love your hair. It is just like mine (texture), except yours is a little longer. I can't wait till I get this length. People won't be able to tell me nothing. :-)
Ooooooo Jesus, I couldn't hear anything else after I saw your length check. Girl your hair looks long and healthy. What would you say was the most helpful in the growth and health of your hair.
@TrayTrayBaby you are crazy... The best think I have done is learning how to manage it. Keeping it stretched has been a life saver. It makes my detangling so much easier. and not using heat has helped too.
@TubeRobyn I would say it's not worth the money. A paddle brush works much better. I will stay natural,,, back in 2003 I thought about going back to relaxers. Now it's just me, but I need to take better care of my hair.
Like everyone else said, you have beautiful full hair!!!! Your skin is looking great as well!! :) Cant wait to try out the scott barnes foundation!! Thanks for the recommendation! I was able to get it for ten dollars!!!! xoxox
your hair has grown so much from the time you cut your hair over a year ago and it looks very healthy, my hair is at 4 inches past my collar bone I'm still cutting heat damage from 2 years ago I haven't used any heat for a year and a half now, I said this because I want to know are you planning on flat ironing or blow drying your hair straight in the future
@trixieaunt It's been growing pretty good. I've done some cutting in it, but nothing as drastic as last time. I haven't used any heat in my head since I cut off all my heat damage ( I didn't want to take a chance). But now I wanna try a roller wrap with the curlformers to see if it would work. I know a whole lot more about heat styling hair, so if I find a salon that can do it I will probably straighten it, but I don't think it will hold up here in Texas.
@brannygiz My near future plans is getting a 3.4 wig/weave sewed in. I wanna straighten it, but I think it would be pointless to do in this heat and humidity. I've tried cutting it into some kinda style several times, but I may just need to see a pro
@Elianna1978 I wouldn't recommend... especially for the price. A paddle brush has worked great for my hair type too. I've heard about the tangle teaser causing split ends... I haven't used it enough to notice, but it works pretty good smoothing my hair into a bun.
just wanted to let u know that ur skin looks really nice. did u have on any makeup in the video? if not, what are u using on ur skin to get rid of your dark marks? im looking for a product, and im really having a hard time. thanks : )
@jerel12307 thank you ma'am. no make up at all. I have had some improvement with using Retin A Micro like 5 days out the week. I wanna start back doing chem peels again because I've had great success with those too. I'm thinking of doing a skin video to show the improvements.
@chicbeauty83 I would say a 4a. Also I think the skin series would be a great idea. I just started using retin a micro about 4 months ago along with glycolic peels and microdermabrasion and my skin has improved a lot. My dark spots have faded so much. I had way more discoloration than you have. Unfortunately I have large pores and some indentation from acne but it has improved also. Do you have any of the large pores and acne scarring?
@strawberrie1 I think a skin update series will be a way to track my progress. I don't really have any pitted scars or large pores, but I heard that TCA peels are good for those. I purchased a TCA peel and I've used it once, but I need to do again before I judge it.
@chicbeauty83 I heard about those I was going to buy one but I wasn't sure what strength to start with. What strength did you try? I was thinking of starting with the 8% or the 12.5%.
@strawberrie1 I started with 15%... but I brought a few other types of peels to try too. I did the 15 once and it made me peel like cray and I only did 1 level. I will do it again when I have more down time. That one time pretty much made one of my worse spots non existent. When I do my skin video I will talk about the peels some.
