Well said! Yeah, its caused me a few problems along the line. The only place in town that doesn't have ethanol in the gas is notorious for replacing it with water haha. Thanks,
@9337377 how do yuo expect to warm it up, youll be sitting there for an hour if you just let it idle, you dont want to go raceing around when its cold but low rpm revs dont do anything but warm it up

Yep still running excellent. Yep did a tune up, changed the fluids, stuff like that a few days back. Haha snow. Right now its 71. By 3pm here it will be 85F. I started a group for Galaxie owners and lovers and I invited you to it if everything worked right. And I'm gettin mine painted soon, so I'll have quite a few videos of the prepping and then after I get it finished.
Sorry I did it in early february at the coldest part of the day. It just doesn't get cold down here. if i was home in Wyoming I could really show you some cold starts. around -10F would be about normal in the morning.
cool. I love them, but they aren't quite my favorite. I would say they are the best ford cars but not my faovrite. second favorite. I would take a 69 Mach 1 over a galaxie
haha. I agree, its kind of a hard choice for me. I love the Galaxie more, but the Mustang is a more valuable sporty car, but the galaxie is fancier, bla bla bla. I could go on with stuff like that for a while lol,
Yes it does,it is the most dependable car I have. I have driven it nonstop in between where I am living now (southern oklahoma) and my homestate where my family is (central Wyoming) and it always does great on the 1200 mile trip. One time I even pulled a trailer the whole way lol
My father still has his 65 ford Galaxie 500. It has the convertiable top 3 speed on the colum and those beautiful fender skirts.
